It’s time to return to Elden Ring

Elden Ring is the gift that just does not stop giving, as every week there's a new discovery, exploit, or item description that has new context due to the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC's latest trailer. Last week, there was the revelation that Walking Mausoleums can be pushed around with a certain spell, but this week's is one hell of a find from a dataminer called Sekiro Dubi, who has reconstructed an alternate intro for the game.

Legions of Elden Ring fans have been scouring The Lands Between in recent weeks ever since director Hidetaka Miyazaki let slip that something (secret, reference, or otherwise) remained to be unearthed. A newly discovered link between a shield in the base game and enemies in the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree expansion has been found and may indeed be that missing link.

It's hard to believe it's been two years since one Elden Ring player rose above all others, proving their right to the throne of Elden Lord through repetitive ritual combat. Let Me Solo Her, as this jar-clad hero would come to be known, would dutifully slay the game's most brutal boss for players single-handedly, becoming an enduring legend in the process.

Elden Ring DLC speculation is heating up once again now that a player has discovered an item that seemingly ties into the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.

The new Elden Ring DLC will boast a leveling system similar to that of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, so you won't be able to grind your way through Shadow of the Erdtree.

FromSoftware director Hidetaka Miyazaki would love to make more games that are as big as Elden Ring, which is sure to be music to the ears of many fans.  

Elden Ring’s upcoming expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, is out this Summer and adds a new world, the Land of Shadow, complete with new enemies, over ten bosses and much more. It doesn’t affect the outcome of the base game (and vice versa), but you need to play a fairly significant amount to even access the expansion.

While players have scoured and stained every inch of the Lands Between in the two years since Elden Ring launched, they might not have uncovered every secret just yet. With a June release now confirmed for Shadow Of The Erdtree, the long-awaited expansion, director Hidetaka Miyazaki has now hinted that we Tarnished may have missed something. One small secret may yet remain, assuming he's not pulling another prank, or maybe not. Honestly, Miyazaki should say it has hundreds of undiscovered things. Keep everyone guessing. Communal Internet knowledge has ruined the mystique of video games.

may be Fromsoftware's most-played game, but that doesn't mean fans have managed to unearth all of its hidden treasures. While dedicated adventurers can take pride in their dedication to hunting down secrets, it would appear that some pots have yet to be upturned. Director Hidetaka Miyazaki confirmed as much, noting that while the majority of 's secrets have been found, there's at least one that's eluded the player base.

A new combat system in ’s DLC will likely change how players approach difficult challenges with bosses and mini-bosses in the additional content for the game. The long-awaited expansion was announced back in February 2023, a year after the base game’s original release. At the time, little information was provided other than the title itself and artwork featuring a blonde character mounted on a Spirit Steed, with an alternative version of the Erdtree far in the distance. Now, more information has been uncovered with the DLC’s gameplay reveal trailer.
