Honkai Star Rail is one of the most popular gacha games out there currently, with a growing roster of characters that you can recruit for your teams. One standout feature of Honkai Star Rail (and its sister gacha game, Genshin Impact) is its pity system, which allows you to guarantee a 5-star character after a certain number of pulls. With careful planning, you can ensure you earn the 5-star character of your dreams. Fortunately, HoYoverse has provided a method that allows you to calculate what your current pity is. Here’s how to check your pity in Honkai Star Rail.

First, you should understand how Honkai Star Rail’s pity system works. In each unique banner, you are guaranteed to pull a 5-star character every 90 pulls you make. Note that pity counts are separate for the Regular Banner, Character Event Warp banner, and Light Cone Event Warp banners. Pity counts also carry over between different Character Event Warp banners (for example, if you pull 75 times on Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae’s banner, you will only need to pull 15 more times to guarantee a 5-star on a different Event Warp banner, such as Fu Xuan.)
When pulling on Event Warp banners, you should also be aware of the game’s “50/50 system.” Each Event Warp banner features a special 5-star character you can pull for, such as Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae. When first pulling for a particular 5-star, you have a 50% chance to obtain the desired 5-star, and a 50% chance to obtain a 5-star from a pool of standardized 5-star characters (Bronya, Yanqing, Bailu, Himeko, Welt, Clara, and Gepard.) If you pull a standard 5-star character, your next 5-star will always be a featured character.
Each banner also has “soft-pity” in place which increases the likelihood that you’ll pull a 5-star character before 90 pulls. Realistically, it’s actually quite rare to pull 90 times on a banner. Soft pity begins at around 75 pulls, so your chance of pulling a 5-star character after 75 pulls is quite high.
Now that you understand how the pity system works, you’ll need to figure out how to calculate your pulls. First, head to your desired Warp banner. Click the “View Details” button on the bottom-left of the banner.

In the following screen, press “Records” on the top-right. You’ll see a history of all your pulls for the chosen banner. (In the following example, you’ll see four pulls after receiving Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae, which means you’ll need 86 pulls at most to receive your next 5-star.)

That’s all you’ll need to calculate your pity in Honkai Star Rail. Simply count up all of the pulls you made since obtaining your last 5-star, and subtract it by 90.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.3 is available
Now officially confirmed to be Dan Heng, Imbibitor Lunae is a 5-Star Imaginary character from Honkai: Star Rail. Following the Path of Destruction, Imbibitor Lunae can make quick work of your enemies.
On September 14, 2023, HoYoverse announced that Honkai: Star Rail will officially launch on PlayStation 5 on October 11, 2023. Regardless of the number of registrants, all players who complete registration will receive the 4-Star Light Cone “The Seriousness of Breakfast.” Upon release, players will also receive the 4-Star Cavern Relic set “Musketeer of Wild Wheat.”
Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.3 was a massive update. Not only did we get Dan Heng – Imbibitor Lunae and a new map for the Xianzhou Loufu, but we also got a new mode of the Simulated Universe. Curios, Blessings, and domains still exist, but you can’t get Planar Orbs from this version. Instead, you can collect a lot of Stellar Jade if you can complete all of the missions.
Finding the best build and team comp for Fu Xuan in is highly recommended as the new 5-star character can thrive on the battlefield with the proper pieces of gear and teammates. Fu Xuan is a character from the Xianzhou Luofu who had already been introduced as an NPC but has since been fully added to the game as a playable hero with Version 1.3. She is a Quantum character who follows the Path of the Preservation. However, Fu Xuan is not a shielder in a traditional sense, like Gepard or March 7th.
Farming the correct materials for Lynx’s character Ascension and Traces in is an important part of optimizing the youngest of the Landau siblings as a character in a team comp. Lynx was finally introduced as a playable character in Phase 2 banners of 1.3, along with the 5-star support, Fu Xuan. Contrary to the Master Diviner of the Xianzhou Luofu, however, Lynx is a 4-star hero from Belobog. The young Landau character uses the Quantum element in battle and follows the Path of the Abundance. Because of this alignment, Lynx is considered a healer character.
