miHoYo Games’ Honkai: Star Rail releases on October 11th for PS5, bringing the immensely successful free-to-play RPG to console players. A new trailer is available and confirms that all updates released till now, from quests on the Xianzhou Luofu to Simulated Universe: The Swarm Disaster, are being added. Check it out below.
Set in an alternate universe to Honkai Impact 3rd, Honkai: Star Rail sees players controlling Stelle or Caelus and joining the Nameless on the Astral Express. As they investigate the Stellaron within them, either protagonist will interact with various factions influenced by the Paths and their respective Aeons.
Honkai: Star Rail is available on PC, iOS and Android – check out our review here, where we awarded it a 9 out of 10. It crossed 20 million downloads at launch and has been very successful thus far. In addition to outlining all the content coming to Honkai: Star Rail on October 11th with Version 1.4, miHoYo also revealed new details on the PS5 version. Several new details about 1.4 have been revealed, including its release date, the PlayStation 5 launch, the character banners planned for the version’s six weeks of content, story missions, events, and much more. As a live-service game, the turn-based RPG by HoYoverse regularly receives updates, which grants players more to explore and do. Much of the information was revealed during a special program, which also featured the limited 1.4 livestream codes. In terms of story, the game will pick up after the events presented in Version 1.3, which showcased the aftermath of the Trailblazers efforts to control the Stellaron crisis.

Developer HoYoverse has revealed the 1.4 livestream codes as the special program has gone live. Approximately every six weeks, a special livestream is held, showing the respective content arriving in the turn-based RPG in the upcoming patch. Although it does fully reveal the contents of the main campaign or the developments that will take place during the limited-time events, it does tease them, highlighting what players will be doing for the next six weeks. During this presentation, the developer also shares a few promo codes, which can be redeemed for in-game rewards.

But Lynx goes a step further by applying certain effects to her allies during her Skill. She can do more than heal. She can also temporarily increase a character’s Max HP.
Fu Xuan is a Quantum Support character who specializes in damage splitting and healing. Introduced during the first portion of the Xianzhou Luofu Trailblaze Mission, Fu Xuan recently became playable with Version 1.3 of Honkai: Star Rail.
miHoYo Games’ Honkai: Star Rail is coming to PS5 next month, and the hype is palpable, at least based on the number of pre-registrations. Approximately 1,025,473 players have pre-registered to date, according to the official site.
