Honkai: Star Rail hits PS5 on October 11 — new story and combat details revealed

Several new details about 1.4 have been revealed, including its release date, the PlayStation 5 launch, the character banners planned for the version’s six weeks of content, story missions, events, and much more. As a live-service game, the turn-based RPG by HoYoverse regularly receives updates, which grants players more to explore and do. Much of the information was revealed during a special program, which also featured the limited 1.4 livestream codes. In terms of story, the game will pick up after the events presented in Version 1.3, which showcased the aftermath of the Trailblazers efforts to control the Stellaron crisis.

Honkai: Star Rail’s next scheduled update will coincide with the game’s release on the PS5, and Chinese developer HoYoverse is going big on the waifus to keep existing fans engaged – and pull in new punters on its brand-new platform, too. Three new characters will debut starting 11th October with v1.4, including Jingliu, Guinaifen, Topaz & Numby. The latter, in particular, has a highly engaging kit.

Atlus advises you tackle Persona 3 Reload's new Link Episodes ASAP, lest you miss out on a bunch of story-driven content in the upcoming remake.

It was hinted at in the game's latest trailer, but now it's been confirmed through an official press release: Persona 3 Reload will feature all-new story scenes and additional character interactions. Overall, the remake will obviously stick to the original plot, but it sounds like Atlus has taken this opportunity to expand upon all sorts of stuff, such as Strega — the antagonist group.

Until now, the only 4-Star Healer in Honkai: Star Rail was Natasha. While Natasha is still a great option, Lynx can finally step in for all of your Quantum-lacking teams. But Lynx goes a step further by applying certain effects to her allies during her Skill. She can do more than heal. She can also temporarily increase a character’s Max HP.

“Growing Light”, Final Fantasy XIV ’s next big update, is right around the corner. Releasing on October 3rd, Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida previewed the patch in a special Letter from the Producer broadcast from Tokyo Game Show.

Rick and Morty's new voices have been revealed, and they sound exactly the same as when they were voiced by Justin Roiland. This comes after the show's star and co-creator left the show following abuse allegations, including but not limited to charges of domestic battery and false imprisonment which were later dropped.

Lynx debuted alongside Fu Xuan for the second half of Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.3. She’s a good Quantum Healer F2P option if you can’t get Fu Xuan.

Finding the best build and team comp for Fu Xuan in is highly recommended as the new 5-star character can thrive on the battlefield with the proper pieces of gear and teammates. Fu Xuan is a character from the Xianzhou Luofu who had already been introduced as an NPC but has since been fully added to the game as a playable hero with Version 1.3. She is a Quantum character who follows the Path of the Preservation. However, Fu Xuan is not a shielder in a traditional sense, like Gepard or March 7th.
