Earlier this week, we brought you word of a dangerous paranoia sweeping the ranks of Helldivers 2 players who, perhaps not getting enough sleep, have convinced themselves that operatives of an alien faction known as The Illuminate already walk among us. Slightly later than usual, the Last Chance to Play section of PS Plus has updated with the list of PS5, PS4 games that will be removed from the service next month. Compared to those that departed earlier this week, we've got a longer list this time but the titles aren't quite as important. There are 11 games leaving PS Plus Extra on 16th April 2024, and they are:

Striking Distance Studios, the developer behind 2022's The Callisto Protocol, has revealed what is internally called Project Birdeye, a top-down spin-off set in the same universe. Ubisoft’s narrative tear jerker Valiant Hearts: The Great War first debuted to critical acclaim on the PS4 almost a decade ago, but it’s taken a long time for its successor to arrive. Developed by Old Skull Games, sequel Valiant Hearts: Coming Home launched exclusively for Netflix subscribers last year. It’s now finally available for the PS4, as of 7th March.

Horizon Forbidden West is coming to PC in the form of the Complete Edition on 21st March, where an entirely new audience of players can experience one of PlayStation's modern classics in even greater fidelity. Sony has released a trailer detailing some of the features, and some of Nixxes additions, which already has us considering a double dip.

Earlier today, rumours started swirling that PlayStation was moments away from announcing its acquisition of Arrowhead Game Studios, the Swedish team behind the wildly successful Helldivers 2.
