Homeworld: Vast Reaches is a VR Strategy Game Coming to Meta Quest 2 and 3 in 2024

Developer FarBridge has announced that upcoming VR strategy title Homeworld: Vast Reaches will be coming to Meta Quest 2 and 3 on May 2. The studio has also revealed that a SteamVR release is planned for the title as well for later this year. The game is currently available to wishlist on the Meta Quest Store and Steam.

Songs Of Conquest is a strategy-RPG with some of the most handsome pixel art around. Steam tells me I've played its Early Access release for 0.7 hours, which was long enough to know that I wanted to play more and would wait for version 1.0. I won't have to wait much longer. It's now got a May 20th release date.

Xbox Game Pass is making four more games available to subscribers, including a day-one launch title and three additions for Core members. Red Hook Studios' 2023 roguelike dungeon crawler Darkest Dungeon 2 is officially coming to PS4 and PS5 consoles on July 15. The sequel to 2016’s award-winning game known for its punishing difficulty and well-executed gameplay, Darkest Dungeon 2 was initially released only on PC. But like its predecessor, it seems that the game will gradually be doled out to other platforms as well.

Persona 3 Aigis: The First Mission is coming to Steam and the Nintendo Switch. However, this long-forgotten Persona 3 spin-off will not be treated to an official English localization.

Meta has confirmed that it has permanently dropped the price of its entry level Quest 2 headset.

The Meta Quest 3 has received a major upgrade to YouTube, adding the ability to watch 8K videos. The update gives Meta Quest 3 owners the opportunity to make the most of their device's capabilities and should be a significant improvement over 4K video on the same device.

The classic survival horror game Dementium: The Ward is finally coming to non-portable consoles and will be released on PS4 and PS5 on April 19. Developed by Renegade Kid, Dementium: The Ward originally released on the Nintendo DS in 2007 and received a 3DS port in 2015. While the game received overall mixed reviews when it first launched, it has gained somewhat of a cult following and is now considered by many to have been generally underrated.

The popular Bread & Fred will be released for the Nintendo Switch on May 23. Bread & Fred is a viral co-op game in which players control two adorable penguins trying to climb a mountain, and Switch players will soon be able to try it out with their friends.
