A Palworld player took to social media following a boss fight that ended when their Pal called Warsect brought the battle to an end with a punch that sent the Boss Pal Mossanda Lux flying into the distance. Following the release of the battle's finale, other Palworld players chimed in with similar Warsect battle stories.
As a Ground and Grass dual-type Pal, Warsect is a hulking critter that is reminiscent of a giant beetle. With a dark carapace and gold markings, Warsect is a physically imposing Pal. In battle, Warsect has access to the partner skill Hard Shell, which increases the party's defense and adds a Fire damage modifier to the player's attacks. It can use a mix of Grass and Ground-type moves, including its signature attack, Giga Horn. Though Palworld players can hatch a Warsect from Pal Eggs or free them from captivity at random enemy bases, Warsect's usual home is in the Sealed Realm of the Stalwart, as well as the No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary on the northwest side of the world map.
While Warsect is a powerful Pal to have on any team thanks to its Ground-type attacks, one Palworld player demonstrated that the beetle-like Pal has more power than intended. A Reddit user named iPior posted a 23-second clip on the r/Palworld subreddit of their Warsect taking on the Boss Pal called Mossanda Lux. As an Electric-type Pal, Mossanda Lux was naturally weak to Ground Pals such as Warsect, which made the struggle a one-sided bout. With the Boss Pal down to around 25% of its maximum HP, Warsect was able to get Mossanda Lux's attention, leaned back, and readied a punch that sent Mossanda Lux flying off past a cliff and into the horizon. Since Mossanda Lux was punched well outside its spawn point, the battle ended by default.
In the comments, other Palworld players posted about their own Warsect Pals performing similar feats against the Pals they were trying to capture. One Palworld player stated that their attempt at catching a Jormuntide ended when their Warsect sent the Alpha Pal flying with a single strike. Other users made light of the situation and compared the punch that Warsect used to the Falcon Punch used by Captain Falcon in the Super Smash Bros. series.
Though Palworld Patch 0.1.5.0 fixed several glitches and bugs with the game, some of the more visible issues remain. Only time will tell if Pocketpair will cut down Warsect's punching power.

During Season of Discovery Phase 1, players thinking about Phase 2 were concerned that many of the mechanical bosses in the Gnomeregan raid would be immune to bleed and poison effects. If they were, that would invalidate many beloved runes and character specializations. Blizzard recently stated that none of the bosses would be immune but that some would have increased resistance to those types of effects. As usual Blizzard did not provide specific details, but now with the release of the Gnomeregan raid players have been able to figure out these resistances. Players have also made an unexpected discovery about the armor that Gnomeregan bosses have. The mechanical bosses have very high armor values — some even higher than Ragnaros from the level 60 Molten Core raid!
