Last week, on the heels of rampant rumors and speculation, Microsoft announced that while they aren’t porting their biggest games like Starfield to other platforms, they would be bringing four slightly lower-profile games to the competition. At the time, Phil Spencer wouldn't say what these games were, but as of today we now know three of the four. During the latest Nintendo Direct it was announced Grounded and Pentiment are coming to Switch, and now we know Hi-Fi Rush is coming to PS5.
We know this because Bethesda’s Latin American channel seemingly set a trailer live too soon – it’s since been pulled down, but of course, there’s no stuffing that cat back in the bag. UPDATE: The PS5 Hi-Fi Rush trailer is now back online, and can be watched, below.

Well, there we go, welcome to the PS5, Chai. Here's a bit more detail about the Hi-Fi Rush port courtesy of Bethesda...
“Chai and his team are on tour, and soon they'll take to a whole new stage: charge up your DualSense controller and turn up the volume because... Hi-Fi Rush is coming to PlayStation 5 on March 19! Feel the rhythm and smash evil drones with this amazing game included in over 50 "best of 2023" lists.
PlayStation players will now be able to battle to the beat of the music with access to all of the game's content, including the Arcade Challenge update with two additional game modes: Full Time and Tower Assault. Additionally, you'll be able to access the dressing rooms with the Hi-Fi Rush Digital Deluxe Edition, which features the full game, an array of additional cosmetics, and gears (the in-game currency) to upgrade your moves.”
Hi-Fi Rush can be played on PC and Xbox Series X/S and will launch on PS5 on March 19 at midnight (there was previously some confusion but this, but it's been cleared up). Pre-orders will open up on February 21.
No word on a Switch release, although if it was coming, it presumably would have been announced during the Nintendo Direct. Grain of salt, but reliable insider Tom Henderson says he's heard Hi-Fi Rush will be coming to the Switch 2 instead.
What do you think PlayStation owners? Are you eager to give Hi-Fi Rush a spin? Of course, you don’t get the benefit of playing it on Game Pass, but it’s worth shelling out for.
