Here's why CD Projekt Red's games have brilliant side quests

Just like the average campaign of, is packed full of side quests for the party to take on. While some connect to the main epic quest to save Faerûn, others can be fun distractions that result in awesome equipment or buffs. But in a game as big as, which side quests are the best ones to watch out for each playthrough?

Riot Games has announced that it is bringing a new game mode to League of Legends. The new mode, inspired by bullet hell titles like Vampire Survivors, was revealed during a recent dev update by the studio, which you can check out below.

There's no denying Baldur's Gate 3's massive popularity, and its director of publishing, Michael Douse, has drawn comparison between it and the survival crafting game Palworld for finding success with a game that not all investors might have taken a chance on. 

FarBridge and Gearbox Entertainment have announced a new spin-off title set in the sci-fi setting of Homeworld. The game, titled Homeworld: Vast Reaches, is a new story in the saga, and is a VR game coming to Meta Quest 2 and Quest 3 headsets later in 2024. Check out the trailer below.

It can be a little difficult to imagine Cyberpunk 2077 being in a completely broken state looking at the game we have on our hands now, but that was the case just a little over three years ago. With constant updates, a fantastic new expansion in Phantom Liberty, and an ungodly amount of money, CD Projekt Red managed to turn one of the biggest launch disasters in gaming into one of the best RPGs the industry has ever seen.

CD Projekt Red's chief operating officer Piotr Nielubowicz has said that the studio's single-player games may never have microtransactions, but its inclusion in multiplayer projects hasn't been ruled out.
