Hello Games announces open-world adventure game Light No Fire for PC

Miklos Daniel Brody, a cloud engineer formerly employed at a bank, has been sentenced to two years in prison for «a network intrusion and for making false statements to a government agency» following a secret service investigation. Seemingly angered by his employer taking disciplinary action against him, Brody kept his work laptop under false pretences after being fired, and used his network access to damage his former employer's internal IT systems.

Myth of Empires is headed for a relaunch in February. The sandbox war game will relaunch on Steam, followed by a console release.

Sean Murray of Hello Games took to the stage at The Game Awards 2023 to unveil Hello Games’ newest project, a multiplayer fantasy open-world game titled Light No Fire.

Following the backlash No Man's Sky creator Sean Murray received when the highly ambitious spacefaring adventure didn't meet expectations at launch, you might think he'd be more cautious when drumming up hype for Hello Games' next project, but that's far from the case.

No Man's Sky developer Hello Games announced its next big project, Light No Fire, at The Game Awards 2023. While the independent Guildford-based studio stretched its legs with the cute little puzzle game The Last Campfire, this new game is perhaps even more ambitious than No Man's Sky in some respects.

Light No Fire is a new fantasy experience from Hello Games, the studio responsible for No Man's Sky. Where that title sought to let you explore the infinite weirdness of the universe, Light No Fire wants to let you in on something more intimate – albeit no less expansive or ambitious. A procedurally-generated multiplayer Earth – a true open world, built at scale to our own planet. A world that's full of fantastical color and strange creatures, a boundary-less space that is yet to be discovered – that you can leave a mark on, impacting any others who may stumble across your finds in the future.

While TGA 2023 undoubtedly featured many gorgeous games, Last Sentinel was easily one of the most impressive. This is the debut project of Lightspeed LA, a California-based division of Tencent's Lightspeed Studios.

After many years of working on No Man’s Sky, Hello Games have announced their next title which they have been working on for the last five years and it is called Light No Fire.  The game is set on a fantastical planet around the same size Earth and is a sandbox game with “adventure, building, survival and exploration together”.

Lightspeed Studios’ Los Angeles division has announced Last Sentinel, a new open-world title set in futuristic Tokyo, led by Steve C. Martin of Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption fame. It’s developed in Unreal Engine 5 – check out the first trailer below.
