Helldivers 2 will "never" include PvP mode

Helldivers 2 continues to do well here in the UK, with boxed sales growing 20 percent in its third week on the market thanks to the game's positive reception.

While Sony hasn’t confirmed sales numbers for Helldivers 2, it seems to have increased exponentially in the past few weeks. After Arrowhead Game Studios CEO Johan Pilestedt revealed nearly one million sales on February 12th, he recently teased almost three million units sold.

With Helldivers 2 turned out to be a far bigger success than anyone could have anticipated, Sony and Arrowhead Game Studios have been working on addressing the many technical and server-related issues the game has faced since release due to overcrowded servers, but it seems things on that front are beginning to come under control.

Playing is going to get much easier with a new update added by Arrowhead Game Studios. The third-person shooter has been a success since its release earlier in February, mostly due to its cooperative, challenging, and occasionally chaotic multiplayer. Given the game’s popularity, however, there have been some issues and errors with , especially when it comes to logging in and waiting in line. The major problems concerning those, however, are starting to be addressed, which should make players’ access to the title a whole lot easier.
