Helldivers 2 Dev Clarifies Farmers Aren't Directly Hurting War Effort | Push Square

The recent changes to the Railgun inHelldivers 2 haven't gone down well in the community, as fans continue to express their dissatisfaction over the adjustments. The Railgun was nerfed as part of the Helldivers 2's 01.000.100 Update, which despite featuring a pretty short list of changes, affected the meta of the game quite significantly.

In spite of all its shortcomings, Alone in the Dark is a game we can't help but have a soft spot for. It's packed full of glitches at launch. The combat feels awful. It's not scary whatsoever, and the stealth sequences are dreadful. Yet, there's such a clear passion for the survival horror genre coursing through it that it comes out the other side still a relatively enjoyable experience. On paper, Alone in the Dark is not a good video game. However, with a fondness for the PS1 original and that classic Resident Evil-style gameplay, it's a PS5 title with its heart in the right place.

The co-op shooter has returned to fourth after dipping to eighth last week, meaning it's really holding its own against the competition. After learning the game has sold a grand total of 8 million so far, we can't say this really surprises us.

Liberating planets leads to unlocking new sectors to explore, as well as new content drops based on how the developers have acted so far. These random but also player-driven updates have helped drastically increase the popularity and retention of .

Helldivers 2 players are once again honing in on Malevelon Creek, and others are worried it's going to drag the Galactic War effort into the mud.

Priority orders have come down from Super Earth high command (developer Arrowhead Game Studios), calling all available Helldivers to arms in response to the surprise, cowardly, and entirely predictable assault on the foundry world of Tien Kwan, located in the Theseus Sector. Until Liberty and Democracy are restored, production of the EXO-45 Patriot exosuit has been halted, effective immediately, in a masterful piece of marketing and propaganda from Arrowhead.

At this point, the success of Helldivers 2 is staggering. The co-op-focused shooter topped the PS Store sales charts for February in both North America and Europe. Of course, it did have most of the month to secure the number one spot — releasing on the 8th — but it's still an impressive result for a game that seems to be utterly thriving through positive word of mouth.
