GTA 6 Will Officially Launch In Fall 2025

At last week’s State of Play presentation, we got our first good look at Concord, with Sony confirming that Firewalk Studios’ 5v5 hero shooter will be releasing for PlayStation and PC this August. Pre-orders are set to go live on June 6, which means details have yet to be formally shared on what the game’s pricing will be- though some regional pricing may have yielded some clues on that front.

In the gaming industry, few titles generate as much discussion as the Grand Theft Auto series. With the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 set for Fall 2025 on the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, a key question remains: When will PC gamers see the game? Rockstar Games, known for their GTA franchise, typically launches their titles on consoles first before eventually releasing them on PC.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to launch sometime in 2025. Take-Two Interactive, in its earnings report for fiscal year 2024 last week, narrowed down the game's release window to the fall of calendar 2025. Now, Take-Two CEO has said he is “highly confident” of GTA 6's planned release timing.

Upon its announcement last December, Grand Theft Auto 6 was given a 2025 launch window, and more recently, Take-Two Interactive – parent company of GTA developer Rockstar Games – narrowed that window down to Fall 2025. Rockstar, however, has a history of delaying its flagship titles, which means many are anxious about the possibility of the same happening with the long-awaited next GTA game as well.
