GTA 6 devs reflect on the leaked trailer, 'This f***ing sucks'

Internet detectives have arguably looked a little too deeply into Grand Theft Auto 6’s artwork to create theories based on bullet holes and braille.

GTA 6 fans are so desperate for new footage or any crumb of information that they've resorted to using braille on the bullet holes in a car to try and decipher the date of the next trailer.

The fate of The Last of Us Online hung in the balance for a long while, with mixed signals being sent from Sony and Naughty Dog. It all started before the launch of The Last of Us Part II when it was announced that there would be no Factions multiplayer mode like in the original game.

Lightbulb Crew, the developer behind 2020’s Othercide, have announced their next game, Nova Hearts. A departure from their last game, Nova Hearts is a “turn-based combat dating adventure game.” The first episode, Nova Hearts: The Spark will be out on January 17, 2024.

Hours after announcing that highly anticipated zombie survival game The Day Before was a financial failure and that developer Fntastic was shutting down, the controversial game has been pulled from sale on Steam. The Day Before launched last Thursday, just four days ago, on Valve’s storefront. Fntastic has also purged its YouTube channel of all videos of The Day Before, and CEO Eduard Gotovtsev has deleted his X profile.

As a result, the gaming company had to release the GTA 6 trailer itself earlier than scheduled. However, even after the leak, the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer broke the viewership record on YouTube by gaining over 99 million views and it's still counting. We've finally got our first official look at the next Grand Theft Auto game, though one sour note hung over what should have been a more joyous occasion. The GTA 6 trailer leaked before Rockstar intended to show it, so we got it early.
