Google restricts AI chatbot Gemini from answering queries on global elections

Good news is coming the way for Google Pixel 8 users as the company confirms the integration of Gemini Nano. Earlier Google denied on-device AI features for the Pixel 8 smartphone due to hardware limitations. However, now the tables have turned and Google's new Gemini Nano model will come to Pixel 8 as a developer preview. Apple announced yesterday that it will be hosting its highly anticipated WWDC 2024 event on June 10 to announce iOS 18 and a bunch of other updates for its entire product line. We have previously covered that WWDC 2024 will be special this year as it will be the perfect venue for Apple to announce its long-rumored AI features to the world for the iPhone, Mac, iPad, and additional products. However, Apple will not launch its own ChatGPT-like chatbot with the release of iOS 18 later this year.

The AI chatbot does not reply to direct malicious prompts but can be easily manipulated with smart descriptions according to cybersecurity experts.
