On a crisp Thursday morning, EA Sports FC 24 unleashed a monumental patch that has sent shockwaves through the world of virtual soccer. This colossal update, dedicated to enhancing the Ultimate Team experience, boasts an extensive list of adjustments and fixes.

With Diablo 4 Season of Blood dropping October 17, we’ve already got a handful of changes and improvements from the patch notes. The most recent campfire chat with the developers demonstrated some of these updates, such as the class balances. All of the five classes received some changes in the 1.2.0 update, but what are they? Diablo 4 is always expanding as Blizzard steadily adds new seasonal content and brings fresh features to the game via patches or updates. Everspace 2’s first major update, Armed and Dangerous, has now been released for all versions of the game. The Everspace 2 Armed and Dangerous update adds a number of item variants, item attributes, quick save and quick reload, better autosave inclusion, new ship passives, and new perks to discover. MacOS support has also been added, though running on M2 CPU or below could mean the game does not perform well.  Rockfish has released a video explaining the changes, and has also released a full patch list.

It’s Valorant patch notes time yet again, but this week’s iteration is pretty surprising. Following feedback on the ranked restrictions introduced in the last update, Riot has chosen to walk the changes back given “how important it is to play with your friends.”

The next, major update has come to Final Fantasy XIV with Patch 6.5, Growing Light. The update contains several more Main Scenario Quests for players to work though, along with several dungeons, raids, trials, and more rewards to earn throughout the next few weeks.

The all-important Update 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077 is now available to download on PS5. Weighing in at around 17GB, this is a massive, game-changing patch. Entire systems have been completely overhauled, while countless smaller changes add up to create a much more refined gameplay experience.
