Epic Games has announced the arrival of Chapter 5, Season 2 in Fortnite. This season is largely themed around Greek mythology, featuring gods like Hades and Zeus.
The island of the Battle Royale mode has been overhauled as a result. Mount Olympus has been added, and you'll also find the Underworld in the West of the island if you cross the river at Grim Gate. Beware of the three-headed guard dog Cerberus, though. Ares has his own Brawler’s Battleground arena as well. It's located south of Mount Olympus.

Moreover, Olympian Powers are available to Fortnite players. The Thunderbolt of Zeus lets them rise into the air and hurl lightning bolts at their foes. The developers recommend using this power with caution, anyway, as the Thunderbolt of Zeus has three maximum charges with a cooldown between each one. This power can be found roaming across the island or by defeating Zeus himself. A second Olympian Power available right away is the Wings of Icarus, which allow players to fly and divebomb into their targets below. However, flying too long will cause the Wings of Icarus to burn up, and if you take too much damage, you'll crash into the ground. and your wings will burn up, and taking too much damage may lead to a crash landing. The Wings of Icarus are also available as a random power-up while exploring the island.
A third Olympian Power called Chains of Hades will be added later in the Season. Epic didn't provide any details on this one yet, but it seems likely it'll allow players to use it as a grappling hook.
The Myths and Mortals Battle Pass (available at 950 V-Bucks) lets Fortnite players unlock these outfits:

Aphrodite
Poseidon
Medusa
Zeus
Artemis
Hades
