The Five Nights at Freddy's movie continues to soar at the box office. After another weekend in theaters, it has now earned $136 million in the US and $147 million from international markets for a total of $283 million so far. That makes it Blumhouse's highest-grossing movie of all time.
The previous record-holder was 2016's Split, which earned $278.5 million globally. Some of Blumhouse's other big recent hits have included Get Out and Halloween, which both earned more than $250 million at the global box office.
Jason Blum, the founder of Blumhouse, thanked director Emma Tammi, series creator Scott Cawthon, the cast and crew, the team from Jim Henson's Creature Shop, and distributor Universal Pictures for helping make the movie a success.
FNAF is the BIGGEST @blumhouse film of ALL-TIME. Just passed SPLIT. thanks to Emma Tammi, Scott Cawthon, cast & the New Orleans crew, the Henson team, & our partners @universalpics & @peacock. @jhutch1992, @matthewlillard, @Piperrubios, @elizethdlail
The FNAF movie opened at the end of October and quickly became Blumhouse's biggest opening weekend ever, so it's no surprise to see it now become Blumhouse's biggest movie ever. It is also 2023's highest-grossing horror movie. The FNAF movie achieved these incredible box office numbers despite releasing day-and-date on Peacock.
The movie stars Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games) and Matthew Lillard (Scooby-Doo). Jim Henson's Creature Shop working on the spooky animatronics.
It was in the works for a long time, and even had big-name director Christopher Columbus attached to direct at one point. Cawthon was highly protective of the story and script, which lengthened the development process. In the end, the FNAF movie became a commercial and a critical success.
Cawthon attended screenings of the movie and sat amongst fans. He remarked that the FNAF movie succeeded beyond his wildest dreams.

Considering that Capcom was ruling the fighting game roost in 1993, Saturday Night Slam Masters is such a low-key production. Street Fighter 2 blended together with a wrestling game sounds like such an amazing concept, but that’s absolutely not what Saturday Night Slam Masters is.

It’s been an eclectic few months for PS VR2. The first week of December resulted in a relatively quiet box office, albeit with a few pleasant surprises. Among them is Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce, which took the top domestic spot with $22 million, per Deadline. Sure, this latest concert venture is far from the $92M opening of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in October. Still, it’s also the second-best start for a film in this timeframe, trailing only Tom Cruise’s The Last Samurai ($24.2M in 2003). Compared to other concert pics, Renaissance remains behind Justin Bieber: Never Say Never ($29.5M in 2011) and Michael Jackson’s This Is It ($23.2M in 2009). PLF and Imax represented 49% of ticket sales, bringing in $5.1M globally.

Choosing your party before venturing forth is a fundamental aspect of playing an RPG, but that doesn’t make picking favorites any less excruciating in Baldur’s Gate 3. What if you like more characters than the game lets you play with? What if you want to see what everyone has to say? What if you’re role-playing a non-hierarchical band of polyamorous adventurers? Apparently, lots of people are having this dilemma — which might explain why Party Limit Begone is one of the most popular PC mods for Larian Studios’ hit game.
is set to release next month, and according to early box office projections, it won’t be making a huge splash in theaters.
