After all, the company had moved past turn-based combat for their mainline titles, and the remake took that and ran with it in a good way. But as players actually went through the title, they noticed not just a focus on the Midgar saga but fleshed-out characters and big changes. Another classicly-styled horror game indie game joins the genre’s ranks today with the announcement of SFB Games’ “Crow Country.” Like other relatively recent horror titles such as Signalis and Tormented Souls, Crow Country appears to be taking heavy influence from the original Resident Evil in terms of how it plays.
