Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth star says we're going to see a "very... unhinged side of Cloud" in the JRPG sequel

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's recently released demo has gone down a treat with most people, giving us a taste of what's to come by letting us journey as Cloud and Sephiroth on their way to Nibelheim's reactor. However, those who have decided to play the demo in Performance Mode for that smooth 60fps gameplay have been less than impressed with the game's graphics, which are notably worse than that of even Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Sony has prematurely revealed a demo for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, as part of a trailer uploaded early to the PS Store. Update: As expected, the State of Play stream featured a good long look at new gameplay from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and saw the release of a demo for the game. The demo features the opening chapter of the game right now, but more content will be unlocked on 21st February.
