Fallout Games Are Seeing A Massive Resurgence

Fallout has its fair share of terrifying, monstrous, and downright disturbing enemies for players to come across throughout the series, whether it be the lethal Deathclaws or the humble Bloatfly. However, there are some enemies from the series that have a special place in the hearts of fans due to how incredibly annoying they are to run into across the Wasteland, whether it be due to how dangerous they are, or just how much they creep you out.

Every month brings new games to the Xbox Game Pass service, with the regularly changing roster in Microsoft's subscription offering plenty of titles for different types of players to enjoy. These can be titles from long-running franchises, indie gems, or titles from Microsoft's first-party studios which are added at no extra cost upon their launch, making Game Pass one of the better deals in gaming.

For all long as the Fallout franchise has been around, it has never been set outside of the United States. Almost five million players were immersed in a Fallout game across a single day as a result of the TV show's popularity, Bethesda has revealed. Without saying when — but presumably on the weekend — the franchise's official Twitter profile shared that more than one million people played Fallout 76 within a single 24-hour period. Then, when taking the entire RPG series into account, there were nearly five million users on that same day.

Five of the top 10 most wishlisted games on Steam are coming to Xbox Game Pass as day one releases, including eagerly awaited titles such as Manor Lords and Hollow Knight: Silksong. This marks an excellent time to be an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, as Microsoft keeps adding several amazing games to its subscription service.

While the showrunners behind the Fallout TV show have insisted none of the endings of previous games are considered canon, at least in terms of a jumping off point for the show itself, eagle-eyed fans reckon the Brotherhood of Steel airship seen in the series suggests one of two endings from Fallout 4 is now canon.
