Are you a newer Fallout 4 player who thinks that Charisma is totally bogus and a lame term for old people? Then this mod that swaps out all mentions of it for Rizz might be up your alley.
Fallout has always been one of the most popular franchises in gaming and one that has long hit the mainstream but, just like The Witcher and The Last of Us, it's somehow become an even bigger deal following the recent release of Amazon's critically acclaimed Fallout series. With Fallout 4 being the most recent game in the series, that means that a ton of players are jumping back into The Commonwealth.
Fallout 4 might be nearing a decade old at this point, but it's still held up pretty well over the years and it seems that fans are appreciating the chance to look back at a game that was previously considered a disappointment when it first launched. But look, as much as Fallout 4 has stood the test of time, it's still far from a modern game, something that a new mod is aiming to heroically fix.
That fix comes from the aptly named Charisma to Rizz mod by Nexus Mods user BasilTBL. As you can probably guess, the mod changes all mentions of Charisma within Fallout 4 to Rizz, which any hip young person will know is the new term for it. Bet it no longer feels like a game from the dark ages of 2015 now, huh?
On a more serious note, the word rizz comes from shortening charisma, and it basically means that you have charm. An essential skill for both real life and Fallout.
As you can see from screenshots of the mod in action on the Nexus Mods page, one example of Charisma being changed into Rizz can be seen on the Perks poster, which has changed Charisma into Rizz and describes the perk as "Rizzler Training". Having this skill also means that you gain "W rizz", which is something that even 25-year-old me doesn't quite understand.
The mod also affects how certain items in Fallout 4 are described, such as the Charisma Vault-Boy bobblehead that can be found in the Commonwealth. When examined, it now reads, "The Rizzler" and includes a quote about "sticking out your gyatt for the rizzler". Truly an all-timer mod that ascends Fallout 4 to be the rizziest in the series.

Manor Lords launched for PC players late last month, and it only took about a week for modders to add Shrek as a playable character.
A Baldur’s Gate 3 player has shared their hilarious build, which turns their Dark Urge character into It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Frank Reynolds. Since Baldur’s Gate 3’s release last year, players have been using the character creator to bring a ton of unique builds to life.
Amazon Prime’s Fallout TV show has supercharged excitement in the Fallout IP, leading to a significant surge in player counts across a variety of Fallout titles on Steam, but also for Fallout London, a fan-created mod for Fallout 4 that may as well be an entirely new entry in the series due to the breadth and scope of the project.
Helldivers 2's latest patch has dropped, causing players to panic, complain, and every other massively overblown reaction you can possibly think of. One of the bigger talking points during this patch was the consequences of the game's changes to the ricochet mechanic, which was reportedly taking out players faster than a Hulk with a flamethrower. At first, it seemed that even explosions were being ricocheted back at players.
Gigabyte has released its "Intel Baseline" BIOS option for Intel 14th & 13th Gen CPUs to improve gaming stability but it leads to severe performance degradation.
Lords Of The Fallen, an action RPG that was a mixture of fun and infuriating when it first launched, has received its final free update. It introduces the "Advanced Game Modifier System", which sounds like something creepy bachelors would pay an extraordinary monthly fee for. No, it doesn't provide terrible advice on how to talk to women. Instead, it allows you to customise LOTF with modifiers to turn it into a roguelike.
Fallout London's developer, Team FOLON, was supposed to be celebrating the long-anticipated launch of its fan game today. However, with Fallout 4's current-gen update just days away from going live, that isn't possible, and the game has been pushed back until fixes are made.
A Pokemon fan has changed Druddigon's typing from Dragon to Rock in a new piece of fanart. The Pokemon redesign is a plausible one, considering Druddigon is known for dwelling in caves, much like many Rock-type Pokemon do.
Team Folon’s Dean Carter, project lead on the highly anticipated mod Fallout London, has opened up about how Bethesda’s upcoming Fallout 4 update impacted the studio, saying the team felt “blindsided” by the move.
One Hogwarts Legacy player has recently experienced a bug that causes Lumos, the wand-lighting charm, to instead be listed as a damage-dealing spell in the game's HUD. Lumos is a well-known spell among fans of the Harry Potter franchise, but in Hogwarts Legacy, as well as the books and movies, its use is as little more than a magical flashlight.
A Red Dead Redemption 2 player online has discovered an interesting glitch that appears to turn shadows into cookie cutters. While Red Dead Redemption 2 has no shortage of visual bugs like this, few are as interesting as this one.
