EA has released stats about the performance of FC 24 in its first 24 days since launch, releasing a whole host of stats. EA has stated that players in over 200 countries are playing EA Sport FC 24, with over 1.6 billion matches played and over 4.1 billion goals scored since launch day. The addition of women to Ultimate Team has been successful too with over 739 million women players being used in squads.
“This year is extra special as we celebrate not only the successful launch of this year’s game, but the start of the new era of EA Sports FC. EA Sports FC 24 is just the beginning of our journey in building the fan-first future of football,” said Nick Wlodyka, SVP & GM of EA SPORTS FC. “We look forward to continuing to build the world’s biggest football club, to engage, entertain and represent fans all over the world.”
The top scorers in the FC 24 are Darwin Nunez, Sam Kerr, Ansu Fati, Kadidiatou Diani, Erling Haaland, Alex Morgan, Trinity Rodman, Timo Werner, Alexia Putellas, and Randal Kolo Muani. The most represented nations in Ultimate Team are France, England, Spain, Brazil, Germany, Holland, Portugal, Italy, Argentina, and Belgium. In career mode, the player that is the subject of most transfers is Kylian Mbappe, followed by Jesus Corona, Alphonso Davies, Jude Bellingham, and Alejandro Garnacho.
In our review I wrote, “EA Sports FC 24 is not the complete departure from FIFA that its name would suggest. Most of the fundamentals remain in place and the career modes have barely been updated. Then again, Ultimate Team is the series’ real money-spinner, coming with the addition of evolutions and mixed gender teams. Overall, the on-pitch gameplay is good, and you can see the extra animations enhancing the football sim, but it isn’t a massive evolution of EA’s flagship series.”

An asteroid struck Earth this year! No, this isn't the plot of a Roland Emmerich science-fiction but reality. Although it wasn't a planet killer that wiped out entire species like another space rock wiped out the dinosaurs about 65 million years ago, it did impact the surface, alerting citizens who lived nearby. As per NASA, an asteroid turned into an atmospheric fireball on February 15 and crashed near McAllen, Texas. Law enforcement agencies in the McAllen region received several calls from residents who reported hearing a loud explosion. It was a 1000-pound rock that was 2 feet in diameter as it broke into pieces about 21 miles above Earth's surface.

Codemasters has spent 16 years mastering rally racing with its DIRT franchise between both the mainline entries and side games like DIRT Rally and DIRT Showdown. Now, with Codemasters until the EA umbrella and EA having the WRC license, it’s time for a new era to begin with EA Sports WRC. The DIRT franchise always excelled at providing smooth racing action and that’s something the then-official WRC games could be inconsistent on with each entry feeling a bit too similar to the last and now you have essentially a perfect blend of core gameplay and the official WRC license. EA Sports WRC is coming from the DIRT Rally team and offers up a more simulation-based approach to the action.
There have been several close calls with asteroids in history. But did you know that not all asteroids have the same composition? According to NASA, the three primary classifications of asteroids are C-type, S-type, and M-type. C-type asteroids, which are composed primarily of carbon-rich substances, are the most frequent. S-type asteroids, which are made up mainly of silicate minerals, are less common. M-type asteroids, which are primarily composed of metal, are the least prevalent. One rare asteroid has recently piqued the interest of scientists as it is reportedly made of gold, silver and nickel deposits!
NASA keeps a regular check on the Asteroids passing close to the Earth. Asteroids have posed a potential threat to Earth for millions of years now. That is why it is extremely important that we prepare for all eventualities. Stopping an asteroid is impossible at the last moment, but we can take preventative measures and that is why space agencies like NASA keep a watch on all asteroids approaching Earth. In a journey to track asteroids, NASA has successfully executed the DART mission where it was able to divert an asteroid from its path. Now, NASA has tracked a gigantic asteroid traveling close to Earth. Check out the details below:
