EA Sports F1 24 Sets May 31 Release Date, Gameplay Features Revealed in New Trailer

10 years after the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition, its long-awaited sequel,Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, will be released this financial year, following a beleaguered development process. This news follows a decade of fan speculation, teasers, and development woes faced by BioWare, the originators of the smash-hit fantasy RPG series. Dragon Age: Dreadwolf was first announced at the 2018 Game Awards, and has been in a long and troubled development since 2015, beset by delays, staff layoffs, and high-profile resignations.

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, the next entry in the series of beloved dating sims with rpgs crudely affixed with Blu Tack to their walls, is set to arrive by the end of March next year. That’s according to an updated product slate released as part of a recent quarterly earnings report, as spotted by VGC and given the Jeff Grubb seal of approval.

A trailer for Apex Legends has revealed new cosmetics, customizable artifacts, finishers, and much more. These additions come alongside Upheaval, the latest season of Apex Legends, which will introduce a new legend, fans' return of a long-requested limited time mode, and the reshaping of a map.

Moist Esports has announced it is filing a lawsuit against the United States Department of Immigration over recent issues regarding visas for the organization's Apex Legends team. The aptly-named Moist Esports was first founded in 2021 by popular YouTuber MoistCr1tikal, boasting players from a variety of different esports. While Cr1tikal was the sole owner of the team initially, fellow streamer Ludwig would later join Moist Esports, even helping the organization to sign a Valorant team. Now, however, a recent issue with the Apex Legends team is seeing the organization going to bat against the U.S. government.

EA’s long-awaited Skate reboot has been in the works for a while, and though it’s still unknown how long it’ll be before the game is ready for launch, developer Full Circle has done an impressive job of continuing to share new details on the game, as well as how development is progressing. The studio has now released another episode in its dev diary series “The Board Room”, this time focusing on Skate’s customization options.

About 928 LEGO Star Wars sets have been released as of April 2024, and there have been countless tie-in animated movies and Traveller’s Tales-developed LEGO Star Wars video games to go with them.

When it launches in just over a month, F1 24 will bring with it a significant overhaul to the series’ physics and handling. Codemasters says that every year, granted, but this year they really mean it with a big year-on-year update that introduces new suspension kinematics, revamps the tyre model, adds rake to the aero model, puts more ERS control in the hands of the player, and more.

A third entry in Electronic Arts and developer Respawn Entertainment's Star Wars Jedi series seems to have been confirmed by a job listing looking for a Senior Game Writer. After several years of fumbling its exclusive Star Wars license with the Battlefront games, Respawn Entertainment's third-person action Soulslike Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order pleasantly surprised fans in 2019. Its follow-up, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, was released about a year ago to rave reviews despite its rocky technical launch and performance issues, which have since been fixed. Survivor's impeccable storytelling, intricate level design, and challenging lightsaber combat boosted it into the conversation of 2023's best games.

Tales of Kenzera: Zau has been on many radars since its announcement at The Game Awards last December, and now, with its launch right around the corner, EA – which is publishing the indie title under its EA Originals label – has released a launch trailer to hype up its release. Check it out below.

The new Urban Assault Collection Event has been revealed for Apex Legends, promising players a plethora of new content to enjoy and items to unlock. Respawn Entertainment officially unveiled the new Apex Legends event, showing off the return of a popular limited-time game mode and the grand reveal of a new tournament mode for players to test their skills called Apex Rumble. Players will compete against each other in an attempt to climb the leaderboards and snag exclusive cosmetics and items.
