@Splat Nice work on the platinum, that can't have been easy. I didn't get anywhere close to it.

Dragon's Dogma 2 has sold 2.5m units since its release on 22nd March.
The action RPG was highly praised by critics and that's followed through with sales — despite drama around the game's microtransactions.
These sales mean the series as a whole has now shifted over 10m units.

That's according to Capcom's Platinum Titles list.
While Dragon's Dogma is something of a secondary series for Capcom behind Resident Evil, Monster Hunter and Street Fighter, the strong sales for the new sequel bode well for its future.
Indeed, Dragon's Dogma 2 DLC could be on the way according to a recent public survey in which Capcom quizzed fans on what they'd like to see.
More recently, Dragon's Dogma 2 was updated across all platforms over the weekend, as preempted by Capcom.
Alongside various bug fixes, the update brings two important additions. The first is a tweak to visual options so players can switch Motion Blur and Ray Tracing on and off, as well as a new fixed frame rate of 30fps. A major criticism of the game has been its variable framerate.
The second addition is an option to start a new game when save data already exists. Until now, players were stuck with just one save file.
The game is «a huge improvement over the original, and a captivating journey from beginning to end,» reads our Dragon's Dogma 2 review.

Blaze through the sky with Dragon Pow, a new shooter RPG on Android. Following a successful open beta, Boltray Games just dropped this game that’s full of colours and chaos. A while ago, they opened up pre-registration with rewards as good as $400 Amazon gift cards. Were you one of the lucky winners?
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is about the journey, not the destination. It’s about exploring routes you’ve never taken before, camping in the wilderness, and having an unexpected run in with a Minotaur. Quests objectives are also left intentionally vague, forcing you to puzzle things out and speak to as many people as you can. If you could just easily fast travel to obvious quest markers you could certainly check them off your list more efficiently, but then you’d miss out entirely on the adventure of getting there.
Based on credit listings at videogame documentation site MobyGames, action RPG Dragon's Dogma 2 may have had around a quarter of the headcount compared to other AAA Capcom releases in recent years.
@ApostateMage haha these moments are the best. This is the location I had wandered off to while getting side tracked from everything else. I went in a sorcerer (I think) and came back as a Magick Archer, then switched to thief at Bakbhattal after i'd levelled up to about MA lv5.
Sony will brand games with a PS5 Pro «Enhanced» label if they go the extra mile to support its upgraded machine, a new Insider Gaming report claims. In keeping with promotional efforts seen for the PS4 Pro during the last generation, such a badge is said to feature if a studio applies just one of a few different enhancements to its pre-existing or future title.
@Splat You aren’t really. The game is designed to be played multiple times so if you can’t stumble upon it, theoretically that is what NG+ is for.
PS5 Pro specs have been the subject of numerous leaks over recent months, and the last couple of weeks in particular have shed a great deal of light on alleged details on the rumoured mid-gen console refresh. But with supposed enhancements like its proprietary supersampling tech dubbed PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution Upscaling (or PSSR), 45 percent faster rendering, and more, how exactly is Sony hoping developers will take advantage of the console’s more powerful hardware?
Dragon's Dogma 2 has been blessed with some notable improvements via its first post-launch update. With patch 1.050, Capcom has implemented several graphics settings on PS5, and we're happy to report that the open world RPG has taken a decent step in the right direction.
I really wish they would put a checkmark next to a dungeon after you have cleared them. I want to do them all and it makes it a real pain.
Capcom has released an update for Dragon’s Dogma 2 on PS5 and PC, adding a frame rate cap option on consoles, improving DLSS quality, and more.
