@Splat You aren’t really. The game is designed to be played multiple times so if you can’t stumble upon it, theoretically that is what NG+ is for.

Dragon's Dogma 2 may have already broken street date, as someone has already livestreamed some of their playthrough on Twitch. They claimed to have bought the game from Walmart which, if true, means more early copies may be out there in the wild, alongside story spoilers.
Full gameplay was streamed by Twitch user JustIchor, who repeatedly insisted that he got the game "legally" from Walmart, and was confident that no terms and conditions were being broken by streaming the game so early. However, it seems that Twitch disagreed, as their entire channel has since been taken down "at the request of the copyright holder".
Before the stream was taken down, JustIchor was showing off combat and some early areas in the game, as well as answering questions about how it feels to play. They repeatedly insisted that they purchased the game legitimately when accused of getting the code from Capcom and breaking an embargo. While this might not have been the case, it still seems that Capcom argued that the stream was in breach of its copyright, as the whole channel has since been nuked.
No other streamers were sharing gameplay footage ahead of time, so it's not clear how widespread these early sales are if that version of events is true after all. In any case, fans should be mindful of spoilers being shared online, even if it looks like Capcom is being proactive in taking footage down.
Of course, if you want to check out some gameplay, official previews are already live.
Dragon's Dogma 2 isn't set to launch until March 22, so this stream came exactly a week before its release date. The game is launching more than a decade since the first game was released in May 2012, so fans have waited a long time for this sequel.
To make the wait more bearable, fans just got access to the game's character creator through a demo. Using this, you can prepare both your character and main pawn, with several slots available for each if you're indecisive. Naturally, players have used it to showcase their creativity, crafting everything from character from other games, to absolute monstrosities. Any characters you make can be ported over to the full game when it launches next Friday. Like the full game, the demo is available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.

While making progress in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is already quite the challenge, the game’s save system can be just as confusing. I get you that people want their character to look different but what is the point in going into great detail when most of the time all you see is -
Pawns are great for a little extra storage space in , but it's not immediately clear what happens to the items they're given. Via the Pawn system in , players are able both to create a permanent Main Pawn, and to hire two additional Pawns from an extensive menu of community creations. Pawns have many uses — their primary purposes are to aid the player character in combat and offer situational advice, but they can also hang onto any spare items beyond the Arisen's carrying capacity.
