Season 2 of is the Season of Blood, which features exciting Blood Harvest events that feature new items called Seeker Keys. Blood Harvests are like Helltides but with vampires instead of demons. When you travel to the green-tinted areas that mark a Blood Harvest, your job is to collect Blood Lures and Seeker Keys to get exciting rewards.
Blood Harvests last for about an hour before moving to another location. When a Blood Harvest is active in your area, you can carve through vampiric enemies and collect important seasonal items to unlock new Vampiric Powers. You can participate in Blood Harvests as soon as Level One, and they will scale to match your character.

If you want to find a Seeker Key for Season 2, you will need to journey into a Blood Harvest. Blood Harvests mark a region of Sanctuary in green, making them easy to find. Blood Harvests are full of a unique enemy called Blood Seekers. You can collect Seeker Keys by killing Blood Seekers.
One of the other significant resources for the Season of Blood, Blood Lures, can help you find more Blood Seekers. By placing 15 Blood Lures in a Sanguine Altar, you will summon a swarm ripe with Seeker Keys.
You can also offer 50 Blood Lures to Blood Lure Pedestals to attract Ancients, a powerful variant of the Blood Seekers who carry legendary items alongside seasonal resources. You can even complete small events to get Seeker Keys. You will come across a few Blood Seekers as you explore, so it will be easy to collect a Seeker Key.
Seeker Keys unlock prisoners trapped throughout Blood Harvests. However, their main use is to help players obtain special items unique to the Season of Blood. As you explore a Blood Harvest, you will likely come across a chest labeled a Seeker Cache. Seeker Caches require Seeker Keys to unlock. These caches include special weapons, unique armor, and seasonal resources like Pacts.
Pacts activate Vampiric Powers in . You will need certain Pacts equipped with certain armor pieces to use your new unholy powers. Vampiric Powers activate based on how many Ferocity, Divinity, and Eternity Pacts you have equipped. These Pacts are one of the biggest changes with Season 2 and the biggest reason you should hunt down Seeker Keys in Blood Harvests.

Diablo IV has been heavy on our noggins recently with news of its new season’s content. As a vampire stan myself, I look forward to employing the Season of Blood’s vampiric powers. While Blizzard set the second season to drop today, it has just announced that the studio has come across some issues that need resolving, resulting in a delay. We’ll have to hold out just a little bit longer before experiencing the blood-sucking features.
