Something new may be brewing for the Devil May Cry series, as the composer of the fifth entry in the series recently hinted at something.
On his Instagram profile, composer Casey Edwards hinted at returning to compose new official music for the series. Not much else has been said, so the composer could be making music for a new entry in the series or for another related project, such as the upcoming new anime series.
Nevertheless, it is great to hear Casey Edwards may be working on the Devil May Cry franchise again, as he composed some absolute bangers for the fifth entry in the series, such as Nero's theme Devil Trigger and Vergil's theme Bury the Light. The excellent soundtrack is just one of the many excellent features that define Devil May Cry 5 and make it one of the best entries in the series, if not the very best, as I highlighted in my review.
Devil May Cry 5 is the best entry in the series and one of the best character action games ever released. In addition to its excellent combat mechanics and level design, which expand greatly on the elements introduced in past games, the story and characters had never before received such focus in Devil May Cry. The game may be lacking in extra content such as the fan-favorite Bloody Palace mode at launch, but don't let this small flaw prevent you from getting what will surely be one of the 2019 Game of the Year contenders.
A new entry in the Devil May Cry series has yet to be announced. With Dragon's Dogma 2 launching in a few months, however, there's a good chance Hideaki Itsuno and his team may move on to work on the next demon-slaying romp for Dante, Nero, and Vergil.

Hyrule has experienced great changes in , and this could have an unprecedented effect on the entire franchise in the future. The series has long established traditions and motifs in its gameplay and story to ensure that all titles feel part of a continuous whole, no matter their differences. However, if recent trends continue, Hyrule could soon experience a radical change unlike any seen before.
Huawei has remained mum on the subject of building its own fabrication plants, and that is likely to avoid further trade restrictions from the U.S. However, a recent patent filing provides evidence that the former Chinese giant is going the extra mile to reduce dependency on foreign companies. The patent application date is June 2022, describing a process for improving wafer alignment and efficiency. It is titled ‘Wafer Processing Device and Wafer Processing Method’ and provides some evidence that Huawei wishes to build its chip plants, which can mean it may want to rid itself of SMIC too.
Recently we went hands-on with Ubisoft's upcoming Metroidvania, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. It's slashing its way onto PS5 and PS4 in January, bringing the series back to PlayStation for the first time since 2010. But after all this time, how is this latest adventure shaping up? And will it be worth that 14-year wait? Well, from our two hours with the game, we'd say fans of the series have a fun and vibrant adventure on their hands, and we personally are looking forward to jumping back into it.
Pokémon has had a lot of tough trainers to overcome throughout its long history, and while we all remember the likes of Cynthia, Miltank-wielding Whitney, and Scarlet & Violet's Larry, they can't all be fantastic. Gym Leaders vary greatly in terms of quality and power throughout each game, but we've never been able to nail down which one is categorically the worst in the series.
I am very happy that the River City/Kunio-Kun/Nekketsu/Downtown series has continued to this day. River City Ransom was a formative game for my modern tastes. River City Girls, as a game, I don’t love as much. Its art style and soundtrack, on the other hand, I dig with both hands.
The GTA 6 trailer was remade using GTA V's assets, further highlighting how big the visual quality gap will be between the two main entries in the series.
Grand Theft Auto 6 has been unveiled and it looks amazing. But as is standard, it’s led to a standard reaction in some of the more reactionary parts of the internet. So let’s put it to rest right here: the Series S will play GTA6 just fine.
The Legend Of Zelda’s next outing probably won’t be a direct follow-up to Tears of the Kingdom, according to Nintendo.
Anyone with an ounce of an interest for rhythm games will have at least heard, if not experienced, the name Thumper in years past. And while it’s been a whole seven years since developer Drool dropped the hard-hitting, on-rails, rhythms of a sole silver beetle rushing through psychadelic worlds, Thumper’s visuals as much its soundtrack, remains a memorable release. Well now, Brian Gibson — the original artist and composer behind Thumper — is back with a new project. Collaborating with Mike Mandel of Fuser fame to form development team Puddle, with what looks to be a spiritual successor releasing sometime next year, in the form of Thrasher.
Former Daredevil showrunner Steven S. DeKnight is returning to comics alongside artist Leno Carvalho, colorist Bruno Hang, and letterer Troy Peteri for a new original graphic novel titled Hard Bargain from publisher Humanoids.
The second chapter of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC is next week on December 14, offering new story content, the return of multiple Legendary Pokemon from previous games, and a slightly terrifying mind-control device called the Synchro Machine. But for me, the highlight change is the reintroduction of a feature that first reared its head nearly a decade ago.
