Destiny 2 is finally answering a mystery lingering since the Forsaken expansion ushered in The Last Wish raid over five years ago.
We're currently nearing the end of The Season of the Witch, which sees us aid Eris Morn. The big finale involves a community puzzle that's eventually thrown up a big ol' tease that we're finally finding out what the 15th and final wish is all about.
Players who completed the puzzle have been treated to a cutscene where your Guardian reveals what solving the Imbaru Engine puzzle's final parts brings – a discovery that Savathun's wings contain the final wish for something we were initially introduced to five years back.
What does the wish actually do, then? Well, you'll have to wait. Season of the Wish arrives November 28, and with it, the answers of something fans have been racking their noggins over for years. As far as incentives go to pick the space MMO up, it's a good one.
As much as Destiny 2 fans love a good community mystery, though, it's not all been rosy of late. The Final Shape expansion has reportedly been delayed amid a raft of Bungie layoffs, with the developer then going on to say, "We know we have lost a lot of your trust" following a lackluster Lightfall expansion.
A lovely wee community mystery may brighten the place up, but the road to better sentiment among the community is a long one.
Destiny and Halo fans were shocked as layoffs hit 24-year Bungie veteran: "To lay him off is a slap in the face to one of the greatest composers in modern history."
A Switch rating for Borderlands Collection: Pandora's Box has popped up in Germany.

With Season of the Wish coming soon for Destiny 2, Bungie has revealed the seasonal artifact – the Queensfoil Censer. Though it includes perks for Solar, Strand and Stasis, there’s also a heavy focus on Rocket Launchers.
The Witcher 3 has been rather dormant for the past few years, thanks to CD Projekt Red’s other IP taking center stage. Bungie, on the other hand, has decided to bring the unique style of the silver-haired Geralt of Rivia to Destiny 2 for their upcoming update, the Season of the Wish.
Geralt-inspired skins are coming to Destiny 2.
Bungie’s next and final season for Destiny 2, Season of the Wish, goes live on November 28th. It’s focused on the Dreaming City and Riven, but that’s not all, as it marks the arrival of the shooter’s next collaboration – CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher.
Today, Bungie announced a partnership with CD Projekt RED for a The Witcher crossover in Destiny 2. When Season of the Wish debuts next week, players will be able to obtain cosmetic items inspired by the legendary Geralt of Rivia, such as armor ornaments, a Ghost shell, a ship, a Sparrow, an emote, and a finisher.
The Epic Games Store’s next free title has been confirmed.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is going to get an official mod editor (only on PC, as you would expect) sometime next year to allow the creation of new experiences.
Bungie has released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Season of the Wish for Destiny 2, which is slated for release on November 28. The trailer, which can be checked out below, offers up a short 10-second teaser of what we can expect from the season’s story.
Last week, theDestiny 2 community solved a special in-game puzzle that revealed the setup for the final season before next year’s The Final Shape expansion. There’s a new teaser out today for this final season, Season of the Wish.
Pushing the limits of stubbornness and inside jokes, one Old School RuneScape player has spent thousands of hours over several real-life years manually catching one million of the same fish, to the amazement (and concern) of the MMO's community.
