Dead Island 2 Mod Replaces FSR 2 with DLSS 2 on PC

The problem with gods is they never give a clear indication of what it is they want.  Good times and clear skies with just the right amount of rain?  The gods are happy and all is at it should be.  Storms tear through and decimate the settlement?  The gods are angry at… something.  Could be anything, really.  In the case of the builder his tribe decided that the things he was creating had to be the cause, so they promptly exiled him to a faraway island.  The small tribe living there took him in on the condition he gets to work, and seeing as his skill is throwing things together it’s not long before his new home starts getting a bit more lively.

Will Starfield offer a full range of upscaling tech options at launch? Fans have rightfully been skeptical, as Bethesda has partnered with AMD on the game, but they also haven’t outright said they are only going to support FSR 2. The wait for Dead Island 2 lasted nearly a decade, but the game did finally launch earlier this year, and turned out to be a critical and commercial success. In May, it was revealed that the action RPG had sold over 2 million units worldwide, and interestingly enough, Embracer Group – parent company of publisher Deep Silver – is expecting those sales to accelerate next year when the game launches for another platform.

Embracer said its restructuring program is on track and confirmed it's quietly moving forward with studio closures.

Name a more iconic duo than The Walking Dead and choice-based video games. AMC and publisher GameMill Entertainment know there’s no better answer to that prompt, so they’re teaming up for a new choose-your-own-adventure-style action game based on The Walking Dead TV series that sounds intriguing.

There was plenty of excitement and hype over the Dead Island 2 release. The video game was first announced several years ago before it went into development hell. It wouldn’t be until Dambuster Studios received the IP that we saw Dead Island 2 actually launch into the marketplace earlier this year. 

Dead Island 2 is scheduled for release on an unidentified platform in the coming year.

If there’s one thing that’s lacking about Baldur’s Gate 3 it’s the game’s upscaling options, limited to just Nvidia DLSS 2 and AMD FSR 1. Larian Studios has promised to upgrade Baldur’s Gate 3 with the much improved AMD FSR 2.0 in the near future, but someone has already managed to get the technology into the game. Better still, the mod is available to download and use right now.
