Dave the Diver splashes onto PS5 and PS4 this April, Godzilla DLC revealed

Helldivers 2 isn’t just blowing up like a traditional bomb – it’s becoming more of a nuclear blast. The game, developed by Arrowhead and published by Sony, is quickly establishing itself as one of the biggest third-person shooters on the planet – and it’s attracting the players to prove it. Despite being limited by server capacity, the title set a new concurrent users record on Steam overnight, topping a peak of over 255k.

Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead Game Studios has said it will be releasing updates on PS5 and PC this week that aim to tackle the "most serious problems" the game is currently facing, including login, matchmaking, and server load. The first of these fixes will arrive tomorrow, February 20, but Arrowhead wants us to remember that "no single update will solve all the issues."

The newest RPG from Life is Strange studio Don't Nod, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, is receiving rave reviews following its launch, with many praising its gameplay and gripping narrative. French developer Don't Nod made waves in the gaming industry with the release of Life is Strange in 2015, becoming an instant hit and receiving multiple accolades following its debut. The developer has made its name for its narrative-driven adventure games, releasing a sequel to Life is Strange alongside new original games like Twin Mirror. Now, the studio's newest game is seeing positive reception.

Helldivers II developer Arrowhead Studios has announced that players can earn 50% extra XP and Requisition until the end of the day on Sunday in Central European Time thanks to a bug that prevented some players from earning rewards after a mission.

After launching in Japan last September, Falcom’s Ys 10: Nordics is coming to the West this Fall courtesy of NIS America. It will be available for PS4,  PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC with English and Japanese audio. The console versions support English and French text, while the PC version will support Japanese text. Dave the Diver was pretty huge for developer Mintrocket, being nominated for multiple awards in multiple categories throughout 2023. Unfortunately, the game didn't come to PlayStation systems, but Mintrocket is looking to change that with a new release coming this May.

Corecell Technology has announced AeternoBlade II: Infinity, its latest update to AeternoBlade II. It is available now for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 for $14.99, or as a free update to existing owners, and will launch for Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on February 6.
