For Darkest Dungeon fans, Red Hook Studios has good news: Darkest Dungeon 2 mod support is nearly here, with the first stages of it arriving in June. Darkest Dungeon 2 has been on a hot streak lately, with exciting new announcements, but this one might be the most anticipated of all.
Red Hook promised shortly before Darkest Dungeon 2 left early access that mod support would come to the game post-release, which occurred just over a year ago. The plan for the directing of what tools and features are focused on is going to be done via community collaboration and discussion to ensure that what the community wants is given the focus it needs. The work on the mod support is also going to be balanced with the work to bring Darkest Dungeon 2 to PlayStation as is happening later this year, along with other updates.
