Daggerfall Unity creator is making their own retro Elder Scrolls-esque game

As sad as it may sound, a big problem in the video game industry is certain developers or publishers having hit titles, sometimes one after the other, and then thinking they can “skate on what they’ve done before” and not attempt to do all they can to make each following game special. We’ve seen that with companies like Xbox, Capcom, and so on, and it’s sometimes not pretty. But the company we’re talking about right now is Bethesda, who has been going through it as of late because of a certain title, and now, the fate of Elder Scrolls 6 is in doubt.

A Destiny 2 player has brought The Dark Knight of Gotham City to the Last City with a new Batman-inspired custom costume. The player replicated the iconic DC superhero's look using the built-in suite of outfit customization options available in Destiny 2, bringing an approximation of Batman into the ranks of the Guardians.

A newly released mod for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is enhancing the AI used by in-game enemies, improving their ability to avoid dangerous situations against ranged opponents. Since the game first debuted in 2011, the Bethesda RPG has remained one of the most iconic role-playing games in modern gaming for its expansive world and depth of gameplay. The game has seen multiple re-releases throughout the years, making it playable on nearly every modern console and even featuring a version of Skyrim on Amazon Alexa. Now, a new mod is looking to improve Skyrim's combat.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game is going to be released on June 4th, Illfonic has confirmed. It will be released for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game will be available to pre-order from today, and those who do will get one week advance access to Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game, so the actual release date is May 28th.

Three-versus-seven asymmetrical online multiplayer game Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on June 4, publisher and developer illFonic, and developer Teravision Games announced.

One creative member of the Destiny 2 community has managed to perfect an outfit for their Hunter to make them resemble Minecraft's iconic and explosive Creeper mob. The vast range of cosmetic options and outfit color combinations in Destiny 2often leads to some impressive character customization from the game's community, and this isn't the first time players have created their own custom outfits inspired by other franchises throughout the world of gaming.

Retro-inspired survival horror game Heartworm was scheduled to release this year, but after multiple obstacles were encountered during the development of the game, its release window has been pushed back once again. Now, the game is set to release in 2025, but no further details as to which quarter or month were provided. 

I'm kind of fascinated by what happened to Hello Neighbor. The original, a stealth horror game against a creepy AI that learned your likely movements, was hugely popular in alpha in 2016. The series was acquired by TinyBuild in 2020, and since then there has been a heroic number of spin-offs. There's one set in an amusement park, a multiplayer game called Secret Neighbor in which one small child is actually a large adult man in disguise, a direct sequel called Hello Neighbor 2, and a VR game called Search And Rescue. I think everyone got a bit of Neighbor fatigue there, lads.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is out now, and while the game mostly focuses on action and big boss battles, the game does force you to use you brain now and then too. The Riddler has returned in Kill the Justice League, and there are a number of riddles scattered throughout Metropolis for you to solve. You don’t get any big rewards for this, but you’ll need to solve these riddles in order to get 100 percent completion and earn “The Right Question” and “The Real Deal” trophies/achievements. The Elder Scrolls Online ispreparing for next month’s Scions of Ithelia launch with a new preview of one of the DLC’s dungeons: Oathsworn Pit. The dungeon takes place in a place known as a training ground for Malacath loyalists, and has been taken over by a group of Wood Elves.
