is filled with challenging encounters against a plethora of tough characters, but one of the most infamous just became even harder. Throughout their journey through Night City, players will encounter plenty of crime lords and mob bosses, and while most of them are pretty intimidating, many would agree that Matilda K. Rose aka Sasquatch takes the cake. Her battle is difficult for most mercs on their first try, and unfortunately for them, it's now even harder.
Per 's official website, CD Projekt Red's latest update for the game has officially patched out a major glitch that gave players an edge during the boss fight with Sasquatch. Previous versions of the game saw the leader of The Animals perform a leaping attack that would often miss and deal no damage despite indicators that it should have landed. Recognized as a bug, that's no longer the case as Matilda's powerful move is now guaranteed to land if a player is caught within its hitbox.
Fixing Sasquatch's leaping attack has only made the fight more challenging as Matilda was already an incredibly aggressive foe. The fight begins with the boss tossing up a series of thin walls before charging at players with her mighty hammer, swinging it around in a bid to knock V off balance and capitalize with a follow-up strike. The key to the fight is to target the small glowing device on Matilda's back, which is suggested to be a major source of power and extremely fragile, especially when it's being blasted by dozens of bullets.
Aside from fixing the Sasquatch fight, the new update for also includes several fixes for broken quest lines and objectives. One of the other major tweaks was issued for the quest «Nocturne Op55N1,» removing a bug that blocked player progression if they chose to conclude the mission with a specific choice. Another big improvement was issued to the "" mission so that enemies now actually shoot at and damage Panam's van during the chase scene, making the sequence both tougher and more visually engaging.
