While many can be found by simply playing through the DLC's story missions, the locations of others can be especially hard to pinpoint. Some weapons, for example, may only be made available through certain quests or decisions, while others might be hidden in subtle ways or placed in obscure locations. And, as Iconic weapons tend to have effects that can't be replicated by any other piece of gear, missing them may deprive a playthrough of unique gameplay.

Despite the new DLC including a phenomenal storyline and lots of new content for , it sadly did not include any romance options among its newly introduced NPCs. The spy-thriller DLC has many hours worth of exciting missions to do, new weapons and perks to play around with, and lots of new characters with engaging backstories in both the main DLC campaign and the many side gigs. Aside from the main storyline of 's spy thriller DLC, the expansion also has several new gigs that V can choose to take on along the way. Gigs are entirely optional but often can provide some good rewards and experience, in addition to providing some colorful backstory and lore for the game. They can often be triggered by entering an area or through story advancement, and are frequently started with a phone call, but they do not need to be completed immediately, so V can circle back when ready.

's DLC,, has introduced a number of new side quests to the futuristic world of Night City. Although these new side quests and jobs are good, some offer the player significantly better rewards than others. In spite of not being strictly necessary for the completion of the DLC, many of 's side quests are among the most entertaining and immersive missions to be added to as part of its electrifying and emotional DLC.

has always offered some special, one-of-a-kind weapons called Iconic weapons with unique names and powerful extra abilities, and the new DLC has added even more for V to enjoy collecting. Completing many of the story missions will lead V to some of the best Iconics, but there are many more to be found. Entering Dogtown for the new spy-thriller storyline of the DLC means not only are there a lot of new shady individuals to loot and a black market to explore, but there are also airdrops that often have some valuable rewards.
