CD Projekt RED has released a new update for Cyberpunk 2077 and its Phantom Liberty DLC. The update, numbered at 2.02, is being rolled out on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and primarily focuses on fixing bugs.
Most of the Phantom Liberty changes in the patch revolve around fixing issues with several quests. For example, the Addicted to Chaos mission had an issue where it would be impossible to complete the mission if a stash in the mission’s area was looted before taking part in the mission.
When it comes to gameplay, along with big fixes for missions, the interface, or even just general open-world issues, the patch also brings with it some rebalancing. Stats for weapons have been adjusted; the Malorian Arms 3516, for example, has gotten a buff, with better recoil handling even at low stamina, as well as increased damage.
The studio had announced the patch earlier this month, with some of the highlights being fixing a bug where cyberware would be downgraded to Tier 1 due to an earlier patch.

It’s no secret that I’m in love with Cyberpunk 2077. I’m closing in on nearly 200 hours of playtime, and that’s just one run. However, one thing that could make this experience even better is being able to play a multiplayer version with my wife.
I don't think I'm spoiling too much off the jump by saying that Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty's endings are emotionally charged and more than a little bit devastating. It is also a natural gamer behavior to goof around in such moments, but as reported by VG247, CD Projekt Red seems to have anticipated players attempting to bork one such scene, inserting hidden dialogue to reflect their apparent death drive. Spoilers for Phantom Liberty ahead.

CD Projekt Red’s Colin Walder had a discussion with Inven Global, and he spoke at length about his career and his time at CD Projekt Red. He also gives some insight into what was going down around the time of Cyberpunk 2077‘s disastrous launch which resulted in it being pulled from the PS Store. Like many of CD Projekt RED's games, 's DLC contains a great number of excellently concealed Easter eggs, hidden details, and subtle pop-culture references. Although some of 's secrets are easily discovered, others are incredibly hard to uncover — this, however, is part of the fun. While simple awareness of a reference is rewarding, having to spend a great deal of time and effort in locating an Easter egg amplifies the reward.
