Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the best games available on the market in its vanilla state, but some mods bring the game's visuals to new levels, as showcased in a new video shared on YouTube this week.
The video, which was put together by Digital Dreams, shows the open-world RPG by CD Projekt Red running with the Ghost in the Shell 2.5 visual overhaul mod, which features a variety of visual tweaks to make the game feel like the anime and movie adaptations of the manga inspired by Mamoru Oshii. This overhaul features, among other things, refined exposure and eye adaptation, a great-looking rain weather condition, Immersive Headlamps, and Immersive Flash that truly elevate the game's visuals.
With the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty expansion finally out, CD Projekt Red is looking at the future of the series with the next game, currently known as Project Orion. The Polish developer is planning to evolve the series like they did with The Witcher, which is definitely an interesting statement, given how much the series starring Geralt of Rivia improved from game to game.
Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One worldwide. The Phantom Liberty expansion, on the other hand, is only available on PC and current generation consoles. You can learn more about it by checking out Alessio's review.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty builds upon what was an already great game to deliver more fantastic storytelling (with a spy thriller theme, this time around), exciting combat, and very high-quality side content. The perk tree overhaul is a major improvement to progression, and additions like vehicle combat and the overhauled police system are very welcome, albeit not game-changing. If you've been holding out on Cyberpunk 2077 until now, you'll find a huge game with over 120 hours of quality content and an incredibly immersive game world to literally lose yourself in. On top of that, it's by far the most beautiful and technically advanced game available if you have the hardware for it (PC and RTX 40 GPU).

A technical analysis of the graphics rendering in Cities: Skylines 2 has identified the reason why the performance is just so poor. Put simply, the game is trying to draw the cityscapes using a shocking number of polygons, with few systems in place to reduce the amount when it's not needed. It's not something that should be happening in a modern game but the recent breakdown also suggests changes within Unity are partly to blame, too.
While Metal Gear Solid fans are naturally pleased to see Konami working on two new entries for the series, the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Delta - a remake of 2004's MGS3: Snake Eater - has led to some debate online about what exactly has changed visually and gameplay-wise. Recently, some MGS fans on Reddit put together a video showing a side-by-side comparison of the recent gameplay trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta and 2015's MGS5: The Phantom Pain, and fans are finding plenty to talk about.
At BlizzCon 2023, the Diablo 4 team took to the stage to announce Vessel of Hatred, the live service action RPG's first expansion. Vessel of Hatred's announcement was accompanied by a pre-rendered trailer previewing a new take on Diablo 2's jungles of Torajan and narrated by legacy baddie, Mephisto.
A new Cyberpunk 2077 mod that is now available for download gives the game a marked Blade Runner feel that suits Night City extremely well.

Taking place in New York, is an enormous game with a justifiably large map full to the brim with content to be explored. features a plethora of interesting, entertaining, and simply brilliant quests; although the vast majority of the game's main quests, side quests, and side adventures don't offer tangible rewards beyond EXP, tech parts, or tech points, a few questlines reward the player with some excellent prizes.
The Iconic Cut-O-Matic XMOD2 Chainsword is one of the best weapons introduced in, and players can find it for free while exploring Dogtown. This unique variant of the Cut-O-Matic Chainsword is particularly brutal in close-range melee combat, and has extra mod slots that allow V to give it a more personal touch.
