CD Projekt RED is Considering Multiplayer Elements for Cyberpunk 2

With today's launch of Season of Discovery Phase 2, the Wowhead team has been hard at work discovering the locations of many new Runes and updating our guides! Unlike Phase 1, this Phase focuses less on many Runes found in starting zones, and instead seems to have the discoveries spread out a bit more. Add in that it takes longer to level from 25 to 40, and these discoveries might last for days! Assassin's Creed Codename Red is slated to launch before the end of Ubisoft's next financial year concludes in March 2025. This is according to an earnings report unveiled by CEO Yves Guillemot, which not only summarizes the company's sales over the last fiscal quarter but also announces its plans going forward.

Walt Disney is acquiring a $1.5 billion (roughly Rs. 12,400 crore) equity stake in Fortnite maker Epic Games as part of a collaboration involving Disney properties like Star Wars, Marvel and Avatar, the companies said Wednesday.

CD Projekt has confirmed it's «considering» multiplayer elements for its Cyberpunk 2077 sequel during an update on the studio's current development plans — which also included word it's aiming to start the production phase for its next Witcher game this year.

CD Projekt has provided an update on the next mainline Witcher game and its Cyberpunk 2077 sequel.

Cyberpunk 2077's sequel, codenamed Orion, could have a multiplayer component. In a recent interview, CD Projekt Red CEO Michał Nowakowski confirmed that the studio is still "considering" multiplayer for the sequel, adding an element that never made it into the first game.

The Cyberpunk 2077 sequel might still be in the conceptual phase, but CD Projekt is eyeing ramping up production later this year - and is considering multiplayer features for the new game.
