The first Cataclysm Classic PvP season begins with weekly resets next Tuesday, May 28th! Along with this new PvP Season will also come two new battlegrounds, The Battle for Gilneas and Twin Peaks! In addition to the latest PvP Season, the Cataclysm Classic Phase 1 Raids will also become available next week, opening on May 30th at 3:00 pm PDT!
Engage in an all new PvP season beginning with weekly resets. Gather your team to take on the challenge of Rated Arenas and Rated Battlegrounds and earn Conquest points to spend on new and more powerful PvP gear.
Season 9 also brings with it two new battlegrounds, Battle for Gilneas and Twin Peaks, and sets the stage for a dynamic PvP experience.
Beginning on May 30 at 3:00 pm PDT globally, level 85 players will be able to take their first steps into three raid dungeons: The Bastion of Twilight, Blackwing Descent, and Throne of the Four Winds.
The Bastion of TwilightThe Bastion of Twilight stands as a dark symbol of the Old Gods’ burgeoning power on Azeroth. Various branches of the Twilight’s Hammer dwell deep beneath the towering form— considered the cult’s foremost command center— along with their twisted leader, Cho’gall. There he, and his servants, conspire to bring the Old Gods’ apocalyptic visions to fruition by bleeding Azeroth of all sanity, hope, and life.

Dumb and Dumber, EU Guild on Gehennas has achieved World First Phase 1 10-Man Heroic Raids in Cataclysm Classic! Utilizing a raid composition with a decent variety, their 10-man team consisted of Blood Death Knight and Guardian Druid tanks, two Holy Paladin and a Discipline Priest healers, and several DPS including a Balance Druid, Survival Hunter, Elemental Shaman, Arms Warrior, and Affliction Warlock.
Progress, EU Guild on Gehennas has achieved World First Phase 1 25-Man Heroic Raids in Cataclysm Classic! With a raid composition stacked with Warlocks and Death Knights, Progress swapped to a staggering 7 healers to clinch the win in the final battle against Nefarian.
The Cataclysm Classic Phase 1 Raids are now live! The Raids releasing today include The Bastion of Twilight, Blackwing Descent, and Throne of the Four Winds! Each of these Raids can be completed in groups of 10 or 25 players, on either Normal or Heroic difficulties.
