Capcom has released a new ‘Welcome to Dragon’s Dogma 2’ trailer narrated by award-winning actor Ian McShane.
McShane, known for his performances in Lovejoy, Deadwood, American Gods, and John Wick, among others, lends his voice to the roughly eight minute trailer.
The trailer dives into a number of different topics, including the backstory of DD2’s protagonist, The Arisen, the party of ‘Pawns’ they’ll assemble and adventure with, the two nations players will explore in the game, the monsters they’ll fight, and more. It’s an excellent primer for anyone looking to quickly get up to speed with what Dragon’s Dogma 2 is about.
Dragon's Dogma 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the single-player, narrative-driven action RPG, originally released in 2013. Players can download the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Character Creator & Storage and create their characters ahead of the game’s release later this week on March 22.
Pre-orders for Dragon’s Dogma 2 are live for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A Deluxe Edition, available in both physical and digital formats, includes the “A Boon for Adventurer’s - New Journey Pack” DLC, offering a number of items likely to be useful for new characters.
