There has been plenty of excitement over Call of Duty lately, with Microsoft seeking to acquire Activision Blizzard. However, we know that when this deal goes through, you’ll still find Call of Duty installments landing on competitor platforms outside of Xbox. With that said, we know that the next mainline installment is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, with the reveal event that took place earlier this month. The game was highlighted during an in-game event for Call of Duty Warzone, where a trailer offered a better look into what this game will entail.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will take place after the events of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II; players will follow Captain Price along with Task Force 141 as they seek out Vladimir Makarov and end his terror across the world. We also knew that zombies were going to make a grand return in this game with the developers providing a new experience. This time around, players will team up with other squads where they will continue to fight back against the undead.
Currently, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is set to launch into the marketplace on November 10, 2023. When the game does release, you’ll find it available for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III just got a gameplay reveal trailer — a slightly misleading title, given most of the footage is loaded with cinematics. Indeed, it is focused on the campaign, which sees Captain Price and his Task Force 141 take on the Russian ultranationalist war criminal Vladimir Makarov, as he extends his grasp across the world. Publisher Activision has introduced a new non-linear campaign structure called ‘Open Combat Missions,' memorable multiplayer maps, and a Zombies mode set in an open world. Pre-orders for the game are now live across all major platforms.
