That Gearbox Entertainment has new games in the works for the Borderlands universe is all but a guarantee, given the immense success and popularity of the franchise, and some recent evidence has emerged that seems to point at that as well.
Borderlands 4 and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands 2 – neither of which have been officially announced by 2K or Gearbox – have been mentioned in the LinkedIn profile of Randel R., who was technical director at Gearbox on a short-term contract between May and July in 2022. You can view a screencap below.
Given the critical and commercial success that Borderlands and the original Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands have enjoyed in the past, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see sequels for either, of course. In fact, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford called it a “new franchise” in September of 2022, and said that “future experiences” in the series were already under development.
Interestingly, the aforementioned LinkedIn profile also mentions a Brothers in Arms game. Whether that turns into anything material remains to be seen, especially given the fact that a new game in the series is something we’ve been hearing about for years and years (and years). As per the LinkedIn profile, all three of these games are being built on Unreal Engine 4.
It should be interesting to see whether any of these projects get officially announced at some point in the near future, especially given the fact that it’s been over four years now since the last mainline Borderlands title came out. Stay tuned for more updates.

When Elon Musk co-founded OpenAI in late 2015, he pledged to fund the non-profit lab with $1 billion of his own money; he had safety in mind and hoped to counter Google's stranglehold on AI research. That $1 billion never fully materialized, and Musk left OpenAI on bad terms.
Just a day away from getting our first look at Grand Theft Auto 6, a leak has surfaced that claims to show footage from the upcoming game. As per GTABase.com on Twitter, TikTok account ‘azzarossi' posted a video showing a quick panoramic view and scale of the alleged location GTA 6 is based in — a fictionalised version of Miami aka Vice City. The video also shows a Pißwasser billboard, an in-game beer brand that's been ever-present in GTA games. While the account has since gone private, there is no way to verify whether the footage is real. The important landmarks, however, match with the massive data leak from last year, which exposed over 90 in-development clips into the wild.

The page has turned on another chapter of Fortnite Battle Royale, with Chapter 5 Season 1 beginning today after the conclusion of the game's hugely successful 2018 throwback season. The new season brought not only a new map and weapons, but also a somewhat contentious revamp of the game's movement animations. I'm just stuck on the Peter Griffin boss fight, though.
Black Friday itself may be beginning to fade into the distance to be replaced by the wonders of Cyber Monday, but we're still finding plenty of deals that look like they're going to stick around a little while longer. This year we've seen plenty of great Black Friday OLED monitor and TV deals, and for those of you that weren't quite sure whether to pull the trigger on the big day the good news is they seem to be hanging on for a bit longer than they might have done in previous years.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is only two weeks old, and while it set engagement records for the new trilogy, there have been several issues. Terrible spawns, which resulted in some maps being disabled in Hardpoint, inconsistent Battle Pass XP gains (which are now fixed), and more have cropped up. The latest is an exploit which allows players to sprint while prone.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 developer Sledgehammer Games says it’s investgating a new exploit called ‘Snake 2.0’.
