The new iPhone 15 series has recently become the talk of the town after its unveiling at Apple's Wonderlust event on September 12. The Cupertino-based tech giant announced four models as part of its latest iPhone lineup - iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The standard iPhone 15 models now get Dynamic Island, a new 48MP camera, and A16 Bionic SoC. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro models feature a new titanium frame, telephoto cameras, and an action button. All four iPhones get USB Type-C as the standard charging port, which replaces Apple's proprietary lightning connector.

Games based on mythology are nothing new, from Kid Icarus to God of War (the latter of which manages to cover two mythologies — both Greek and Norse).
The upcoming Black Myth: Wukong isn't based on a myth per se, but the 16th century work Journey to the West, attributed to the poet Wu Cheng'en. However, it's refreshing to see an epic AAA game explore Chinese folklore in such a way.
The trailer revealed at Gamescom showed us a beautifully realised world of vast landscapes, enigmatic creatures, and — of course — epic boss fights. We also saw the protagonist — a monkey based on the character Sun Wukong, called «The Destined One» — in action. And boy, does he have some moves.

By the looks of things, Black Myth: Wukong will drop on the three powerful consoles — PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
It looks like an huge game that previous generations and the Switch might struggle with. However, stranger things have happened. We'll keep you posted on any changes!
As we've said, Black Myth: Wukong is based on the 16th-century Chinese novel «Journey to the West». It's a story about a monkey who makes a journey across the «western regions» to obtain sacred texts. We don't know how faithful Black Myth: Wukong will be to the text, it sure looks epic.
As for the gameplay, it looks to adopt souls-like mechanics — expect to hack, slash, parry, die, repeat. The boss at the end of the trailer looks particularly challenging. Speaking of which...

Black Myth: Wukong’s Combat Feels As Good as It Looks | gamescom 2023
When it was revealed to the world back in 2020, Black Myth: Wukong set the soulslike community on fire. And with each new gameplay video, that fire burned hotter and brighter. Among a growing crowd of FromSoftware imitators, Black Myth: Wukong stood out thanks to what appeared to be lightning-fast, responsive combat that doesn’t fall into the staple sword-and-board rhythms the genre found its feet with. But that impression has always been based on what we’ve watched. Now, after actually playing 30 minutes of Black Myth at gamescom 2023, I’m thrilled to report that seeing really can be believing. It genuinely does feel as good as it looks.

We’ve seen tales of the Greek Gods, Norse Gods, and various other pantheons. But a title that might be intriguing to many of you is Black Myth Wukong. The tale will retell and reimagine the legendary story featuring the Monkey King, Sun Wukong. But as we’ve seen from previous trailers, it’ll have a very gritty and detailed visual style, arguably making it more intriguing.
