Garena Free Fire players have had a reason to rejoice lately as the game is expected to make a comeback in India in the form of Free Fire India. For the unaware, Garena Free Fire, along with 54 other China-linked apps, was banned by the Government of India on the morning of February 14, 2022. However, the ban was recently lifted, and the game is expected to arrive soon. Despite the unavailability of Garena Free Fire, its enhanced version, Garena Free Fire MAX, is free to play in India. It includes more advanced effects, animations, and graphics to enhance the overall user experience without compromising gameplay. However, it needs vastly superior resources on the gadgets being used to play the game. It is a more spec-heavy version of Garena Free Fire, but identical in terms of gameplay, and has become more popular, especially since the ban of Garena Free Fire in India.

Microsoft announced that the Xbox Digital Broadcast is returning for Tokyo Game Show 2023 after last year's debut. The Xbox Digital Broadcast is set to air on Tokyo Game Show’s official YouTube channel and select Xbox social channels in Japanese, English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Malay, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, French, German, and Castilian Spanish starting September 21st at 6 PM JST / 9 AM UTC / 2 AM PDT. The broadcast will also be available with Japanese Sign Language (JSL), Australian Sign Language (AusLan), and audio descriptions in both Japanese and English.

Early access action RPG Last Epoch has just received update 0.9.2, which adds a new class of mage called the Runemaster. The Runemaster has five new spells they can use to tear through the game's monsters, and each spell can be customised via its own skill tree.

Today, NVIDIA shared some DLSS 3 news for GeForce RTX 40 Series owners. The Frame Generation component of DLSS will be added to Project Mugen, the newly announced gorgeous open world anime roleplaying game in development at a Chinese studio called ThunderFire on behalf of NetEase Games. Project Mugen currently has no release date, but when it launches, it'll support Frame Generation on PC.

When it was revealed to the world back in 2020, Black Myth: Wukong set the soulslike community on fire. And with each new gameplay video, that fire burned hotter and brighter. Among a growing crowd of FromSoftware imitators, Black Myth: Wukong stood out thanks to what appeared to be lightning-fast, responsive combat that doesn’t fall into the staple sword-and-board rhythms the genre found its feet with. But that impression has always been based on what we’ve watched. Now, after actually playing 30 minutes of Black Myth at gamescom 2023, I’m thrilled to report that seeing really can be believing. It genuinely does feel as good as it looks.

It’s been a whirlwind of a week for us at TSA, with a big part of that down to two of us being at Gamescom. We’ve played so many games that it’s hard to pick the best ones out, but I’m very excited for Bellwright, Mudrunner Expeditions and Mortal Kombat 1.
