is filled with so many little secrets and mysteries to uncover that even some of the most devoted players are still finding new content. When visiting the Druid Grove, players encounter Pandirna, who is paralyzed after drinking one of Auntie Ethel’s potions. Though plenty of players have used Shadowheart (or another character with healing spells) to cure her with a simple, there’s a way to do it without expending spell slots.
Even after spending 900 hours playing through, Reddit user FloweryFluff finally stumbled upon an amulet that’s easily missed during most playthroughs but can be used to cure Pandirna. The Amulet of Silvanus grants players and is found just outside the Druid Grove by Ormn the bear.
Players can find Ormn by going down the hill past the elevator in the grove. Picking up the various rocks around Ormn will unveil the amulet, and any companion that doesn’t already have a necklace on can use it to cast the spell. Whether or not they earn some gold helping Pandirna depends on their dialogue choices, but helping her can be done without expending any personal resources.
The description for the spell states that it cures a companion or NPC from being diseased, poisoned, paralyzed, or blinded, but the spell also works on the bloodless condition. Players who choose to let Astarion feed on them will wake up the next day with the bloodless debuff, giving them a -1 on attack rolls, saving throws, and ability checks. It’s a small price to pay for those wooed by Astarion’s backhanded quips, but as Bloodless requires a Long Rest to remove, it’s not an ideal condition to walk around with.
Technically, missing the Amulet of Silvanus’s hiding spot isn’t detrimental to a playthrough, as there are plenty of other ways for a player to have at the ready. As a second-level spell, bards, clerics, and druids can learn at level three, while paladins and rangers receive it at level five. For Life Domain clerics, the spell is always prepared at level three, while Oath of Devotion paladins also have constant access to it when it unlocks at level five.
But those completing multiple playthroughs may want to leave Shadowheart back at camp instead of toting her along on every mission. Using the amulet allows to be cast once per short rest without expending a spell slot. Players on FloweryFluff’s Reddit thread also reported giving the Amulet of Silvanus to Astarion, so he could cast Lesser Restoration on them as “” the day after letting him feed on them.
Plenty of wearable items scattered around Faerûn offer additional spells without expending spell slots, making them particularly useful, especially when balancing a wizard or cleric’s limited slots. The wiki has information on just about every in-game item

When players aren't romancing Astarion and swooning over his snarky lines, they’re often using the rogue to pick locks and disarm traps, though there are some alternatives to the latter that players are just now finding out about. Though his nimble fingers come in handy, sometimes there’s just not enough room in the party for him, and traveling back and forth between the camp just for his lockpicking skills is annoying (and not always available).
