Baldur’s Gate 3 – Patch 3 is Live With Magic Mirror, Mac Support and More

Once inside, they may spy the majesty of Philgrave's Mansion. Knock on the door (or sneak through the hole in the back), and Mystic Carrion will offer a cold greeting. He's an undead mummy, and he operates a fine little shop with some great gear for spellcasters. But more importantly, he needs the party to find his lost thrall. In return, he promises a magic item.

does an excellent job of recreating the roleplaying experience in a video game, but one specific side quest pokes some loving fun at its inspirations. is a tool that can be used for endless creativity, but it also lends itself to certain tropes or familiar gameplay elements that recur in many campaigns. In some cases, tropes can be popular because of their epic scale or memorable impact, but others stick around more because of convenience than out of any particular love that players have for them.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is dropping in November and before that, Activision has unveiled a brand-new map coming to its battle-royale counterpart. Dubbed ‘Urzikstan,' the large-scale metropolis will be available in Warzone 2.0, sometime in December, as part of season 1 content. The region was first featured in the reimagined 2019 MW game and is playable on the endless respawn-enabled Plunder mode, as well. Set on the eastern border of the Black Sea, this map comes with 11 unique points of interest, peppered with horizontal ziplines and drivable trains for better traversal.

Activision has revealed Warzone 2's brand new map, Urzikstan, a "massive" urban desert battleground with water lanes coming to Battle Royale and Plunder at the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Mortal Kombat 1’s Player 1 advantage issues came to light recently, with developer NetherRealm Studios confirming promptly afterwards that the issue would be addressed with the game’s upcoming patch. And though it’s arrived a little later than expected due to unexpected server issues last week, that patch is out now.

Developer Techland has shared a content roadmap, detailing everything coming to the open-world zombie smash ‘em up Dying Light 2. 

One of the hidden locations in Act 3 of is the Sorcerous Vault, a secret area inside a wizard's tower that holds a variety of puzzles to solve, including a tricky situation involving a Peculiar Lamp. Your party can obtain powerful magic artifacts from this place, but getting through the arcane obstacles that stand in your way can be difficult. Exercise caution when traveling to this trove of enchanted items.

red band teaser trailer for Legendary Entertainment’s upcoming superhero remake has been released (via IGN), providing the first footage of Peter Dinklage as the titular hero. The film just had its world premiere at the 2023 Fantastic Fest last week, where it garnered positive reviews from critics and currently has a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

After playing for a while, one thing will become abundantly clear, the map is very extensive and holds many significant areas, such as The Lower City. This area is one of several more significant regions of the map that contains plenty of new quests with various special rewards worth obtaining.

Baldur's Gate 3 earned widespread acclaim for its excellent world, story, combat, and graphics, becoming the highest-rated PC game of all time and the highest-rated game released this year tied to Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, placing itself in pole position for the Game of the Year awards.

Larian has announced that Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 3 will release later today, Friday 22nd September, with another sweeping set of bug fixes and tweaks, and one big new feature: a Magic Mirror for appearance changes. Oh, and the game now supports Mac too!
