Baldur’s Gate 3 – How to Solve the Defiled Temple Moon Puzzle

Every act in Baldur’s Gate 3 has a different pace. Act 3 is no different, and one of the most interesting aspects of the early portions of this act is the side quests. Most side quests have you going somewhere and killing/fetching something. Act 3 has you investigating a string of gruesome murders in a temple.

Immortals of Aveum mostly focuses on action, but it also features a number of puzzles, both required and optional. One of the most vexing of these puzzles in one found in Greyveil, one of the early hub areas you’ll visit in the game. This puzzle incorporates a large important-looking tower, various switches, statues, and more, and since you visit Greyveil frequently, you’ll pass right by this brainteaser often. Do you know about dark matter? According to ESA, in the vast space between galaxies and stars, the seemingly empty space is filled with mysterious matter that we cannot see. It's called "dark" because it seems to only interact with light and normal matter through gravity and it cannot be seen or detected through normal sensors. Scientists have tried really careful experiments, but they haven't found any other ways that dark matter behaves. Even though they've studied it for a long time, we still don't know what dark matter is made of. It's like a puzzle that scientists are trying to solve.
