Drown this vicious killer in her own blood.

There are many deadly foes in Baldur's Gate 3, but few are as brutal as Orin the Red. Wearing the skin of her victims, her only wish is to carve you up nicely as an offering for her god. Our Baldur's Gate 3 Orin the Red boss guide discusses what you can expect from this battle, as well as what this entails for Dark Urge players. Likewise, please be aware that this article contains major spoilers.
The Baldur's Gate 3 Orin the Red boss fight happens in the Undercity Ruins, which is connected to the Lower City Sewers. You'll likely do a few quests along the way:
Moreover, an incident will occur during one of your long rests in Act 3. Orin, ever the cunning shapeshifter, will turn into one of your companions, and she'll attempt to kill a kid. If you see through this deception, it's revealed that your companion has been kidnapped. Our guess is that this is the party member with the lowest approval at the time. For us, it was Lae'zel.
In any case, once we cleared the Murder Tribunal, the game told us that Orin might not like what we did, so it's imperative that we rescue our companion. We only did one long rest (we were thinking that an untoward incident might occur, and we didn't want to cause time to advance further).
Upon reaching the Bhaal Temple in the Undercity Ruins, we found Lae'zel knocked out cold on an altar, ready to be sacrificed. Be sure to pre-buff with elixirs and spells (i.e. Guidance) since you'll be presented with a skill check: DC25 Deception, Intimidation, or Persuasion. Succeeding makes Orin ignore her would-be victim to focus on you instead.
After the back-and-forth conversation with Orin, you'll commence with the bout. Take note that we only did the Baldur's Gate 3 Orin the Red boss fight as a Dark Urge character. Here's what you need to know:
After the Baldur's Gate 3 Orin the Red boss fight, you'll receive the following rewards:
Still, there are other facets that you might want to learn, assuming you picked the Dark Urge origin. We're delving deeper into spoiler territory here, so read at your own risk.
After defeating Orin in Baldur's Gate 3, a cutscene will play. Your butler, Scleritas Fel, is impaled, and Bhaal speaks through his corpse. You're then asked if you want to become Bhaal's Chosen, or if you want to reject your Father's gift entirely.
Both Jaheira and Minsc will leave your party for good, which makes sense given that the duo fought Bhaal's lackeys in the previous games. But, that's not all: as you leave the temple, the two will ambush you alongside the Harpers. You have no choice but to kill them. Your other companions won't like your decision, but they'll stay in your team. The same also applies to Orin's

Resident Evil 4 “Separate Ways” DLC has arrived, letting players see what Ada Wong was busying herself with during the game’s main story (you can check out Wccftech’s impressions of the expansion here). Baldur’s Gate 3 has been a standout title this year and continues to be enjoyed by players doing new playthroughs or jumping on the bandwagon and experiencing it for the first time. One of the best parts of the game is the companions you meet on the way, and thanks to Larian Studios, we are about to see them all in a whole new way.
Rifles are among the most versatile weapons in . They are a balanced option that can deal decent damage, with a good range and attack rate. While other guns are stronger per hit, rifles are always a suitable backup weapon for most situations.
Could you really bring an extra companion with you in Starfield? Yes, but there's a catch.
We often hear that videogames can have a positive impact upon the world, but this is the first time I've seen somebody use one - an antique strategy sim, no less - to advocate for appropriately balancing the level design of your front lawn so as to stop indigenous insects being overrun by smaller invading species. The scientific research paper in question - uploaded in August this year, and brought to my attention by RPS contributor and apparent ant enthusiast Matt Cox - sees researchers Samuel J. Lymbery, Bruce L. Webber and Raphael K. Didham use Age of Empires 2 to study how human shaping of the environment affects the balance of power between the indigenous Australian "meat ant", or Iridomyrmex purpureus, and the Argentine ant, or Linepithema humile, who are one of the world's more invasive ant species.
Earth is an inhospitable wasteland in Starfield. Sounds familiar, aye? Nuclear war ravaged our little floating rock in the Fallout series, leaving much of the planet a smoking radioactive desert. However, the two games aren't connected, but Bethesda did consider setting Starfield in the Fallout universe at one point during development.
Choose the ideal traits when you begin your journey in Starfield.
In an interview with Famitsu, Starfield lead and Bethesda frontman Todd Howard stated that the game's mod support «will be available next year» (obtained via machine translation), which likely refers to Starfield's equivalent to the Creation Kit modding tools for Skyrim and Fallout 4.
Bethesda’s "Skyrim in space" rings true when you take a look at the codes, because anyone familiar with the Creation Engine and Gamebryo will recognise them from a mile away — as they have been essentially the same since The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
