Assassin’s Creed Mirage New Game + Mode Arriving Next Month Via Free Update Alongside Permadeath Mode

A new game mode has been featured in the 4.3 leaks ahead of the version’s release later in December. The upcoming patch is expected to continue the content revolving around the region of Fontaine, introduced to Teyvat earlier this year, even if it does not directly explore main campaign quests within the nation of Hydro – Version 4.2 added the last Archon Quests in the region before a pause, and properly concluded the story involving Focalors, Furina, Neuvillette, and many other heroes. As a live-service game, however, HoYoverse’s popular action RPG will continue to receive content moving forward, much of which has already been leaked.

Epic Games is adding three new "experiences" to Fortnite later this week, including a survival crafting Lego adventure, a Rocket-League-inspired racing mode, and a musical mode made by Harmonix that's riffing on Rock Band.

Patch 5 for has been officially released, and this latest patch is packed with new additions and changes. Patch 5 includes a new epilogue, two new game modes, and over 3,500 new lines. Payday 3’s launch wasn’t as smooth or profitable as some hoped. The game launched back in September of this year, and it was an online-only gameplay experience. That is not easy to pull off from the start as you have issues like Payday 3 experienced. There was an influx of players trying to get their game sessions going that just overloaded the servers. Regardless, reports have suggested that Payday 3 didn’t quite hit the sales expectations either. 

Baldur’s Gate 3 drops its fifth major patch today and it’s one of the most feature-rich Larian Studios has delivered to date. The big addition is a new epilogue, which allows you to catch up with all the characters from your adventure before the credits roll. This epilogue will be fully customized for you, changing depending on your choices during the adventure. In addition to that, Larian Studios is serving up a couple of new ways to play the game – Honour Mode,  which takes save scumming off the table, and a Custom Mode that lets you set a long list of parameters yourself. Of course, the update also includes the usual performance enhancements and other smaller quality-of-life features.

With the recent announcement of a PS5 remaster for comes the inclusion of two new game modes — a Speedrun Mode, which simply puts a timer on completing the main story, and No Return, a new roguelike survival mode where players fight through randomized encounters. However, while No Return is set to leverage 's refined third-person shooter and stealth gameplay, the mode is conceptually at odds with the core themes of the main story. Although it's far from being a major issue, there is a definite dissonance between No Return and 's main campaign.
