Hero Talents are an extension of the Talent system designed to explore class fantasy with a third talent tree, separate from your class and specialization. Blizzard has revealed an early preview of Hero Talents coming in the next expansion, The War Within.

Colossus Warriors are the peak of pure physical might and resilience. They are veterans of countless battles and have the scars to show for it. Colossus’ know not only how to take a hit and keep going, but how and where to put their strikes to use to ensure their enemies don’t.
Available to Arms and Protection, Colossus is the second Hero Specialization revealed for Warriors, introducing and revolving entirely around a new offensive cooldown called. As with our review of Mountain Thane before it, the Colossus tree is appears fairly straightforward, reinforcing existing gameplay rather than transforming it into something new. Unlike its Fury counterpart, Colossus' new cooldown interrupts the rotation and restricts movement in return for damage, creating potential for both fun and friction in equal measure.
An Unstoppable Force or Immovable Object?
- Demolish is a 2 second channel, and the Warrior is unable to move or use other abilities while channeling, similar to Eye Beam. A Colossus player will have to think tactically about when and where is optimal to use it. This is an intentional part of the flavor of the ability.
